Realistically, you're not getting Thor or matz. On Norris, honestly probably be a deal involving schwarber. Something like Norris, Gose, B prospect for schwarber and low b prospect. Something along those lines I'd think. Norris and fulmer are the future of our pitching staff

I hate to bump my post because I don't want to be "that guy", but I'm genuinely curious as to what it would cost. I wish we had a spreadsheet like previous years, but I understand it's a ton of work for those involved.

      I appreciate the input.

IMO with the Dodgers having boat load of outfielders this could get done by offering up a big bat or bullpen help. If I were the Dodgers I would ask for

        Ken Giles (25 84 B ) straight up for Kike Hernandez ( 24 75 ^C )

          No.....

If you think that is a fair and realistic deal you are saying Kike Hernandez and 16 year old in rookie ball equals Mark Appel, Vincent Velasquez, Thomas Eshelman and Harold Arauz, as well as LHP Brett Oberholtzer.

I don't think Kike could even bring back Appel or Velasquez on his own.

Looking for some help to finalize a potential Soler - Carrasco swap. The Indians will make the deal straight up. I'm in July of '18 off a carryover so Carrasco is a FA at seasons end. Soler has 3 years of control left. Both teams are in 1st but the Indians need outfield help bad and are looking for a RF. Is straight up a fair deal or do players need to be added?

Really depends. What's Soler's slash line?

Soler is at .229/3/17 in about 150 AB's. Carrasco is 5-5 3.50. I just don't have many AB'S for Soler. He's rated higher 85 to 82 if that means anything.

Hm. What if I offered something along the lines of Josh Fields + C prospect for Kike? Or is that an overpay?

Everyone who wants to help out with a spreadsheet PM me. There is going to be a lot of hand work that I can't do until like August lol

If I can get the info I need from that hand work then I can assemble something better than a spreadsheet

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread

                      How does this trade sound:

Matt Kemp to the BoSox for Pablo Sandoval, Brian Johnson and Sean Coyle.

Realistic contracts here. Matt Kemp is making around 20 mil and Pablo 17 mil. I also changed their ratings up a bit to be more realistic. Matt Kemp's speed, reaction, and fielding is down to the 50's and his potential is a B-. Pablo's rating is down to 74 with C potential.

Boston is really hurting for some outfield production and Matt Kemp is hitting pretty well right now. I feel like he could be OK for them defensively if they stick him in LF and then they can move him to DH next year when Big Papi retires.

I'd like to get some feedback on the return I am getting. I don't really want Sandoval but I need to include him to offset the large contracts. Should I be getting better prospects? Johnson is a future backend starter and Coyle will just end up as a role player. I know Kemp isn't an allstar anymore but Boston is in a play off push and maybe they should pay a little more.

                        Hey all,
This is my second year playing MLB The Show and I'm having fun. A few problems with it but no game is ever perfect. Anyway, the thing I'm really bad at is trades. I try to make them even but no one I know plays this game and I would like advice. I was thinking of trading Jaysen Werth. What do you think I can get for him? I'm just curious. I don't really need a specific position. I just want to what what you think I can get for him.

                        Thanks in advance.

Realistically he's untradable ( plus he has a full no trade clause ) also IMO I don't think anyone would touch his contract 21 mil/yr with 2 years left but depending on how well he's doing you may be able to ship him off to a contender for a low to mid C level player.

Maybe the RedSox's or Orioles who need outfield help !! Hope this helped.

Looking to move VMart, Anibal Sanchez and really anybody over 30 years old in my Tigers chise. My priority is to bring in solid young pitching prospects, and flip some of my still-producing veterans while they're valuable.

In a package involving VMart of Anibal, what else would I have to throw in to go get a Top-100 (preferably left-handed) pitching prospect?

Thanks. I kind of figured trading him would be unfair. I like to keep everything on an even playing field.

The likelihood that a team would give you anything more than a laugh in the face is unlikely while trying to trade Vmart and Anibal. Not many teams are eager to gamble a top-100 spect for a 37 year old DH making 14 million a year with chronic knee pains and career low #'s last year. Sanchez doesn't provide any relief considering he makes $16m a year and has had a mostly sour career.
