In back to back seasons, I've managed to land Chris sale in Seattle and Manny machado in sd.

Aside from all of the valid points quoted here, it seems as though your game keeps getting more and more sprawling. I believe it started at simming 2 seasons and controlling 6 teams. Now it's simming 3 seasons and controlling 12 teams. Pretty soon you will sim a decade and control all 30?

Point being, and I can't speak for everybody here, but I have no desire to expend any brain power over deals for so many teams in a franchise that seems to keep getting reset or that seems to expand all the time. This might be another reason why your posts go unanswered, in addition to the above quoted responses. Just a thought.

Are the Marlins desperate for pitching in his franchise? I don't remember the exact post, but I'm not sure we got any info on how the Marlins are doing, which is an important piece of information.
I don't think we got that, so all I had to go off was IRL.

I don't think we did either and in real life Ozuna is far and away outperforming Profar

Here's the stats to follow those numbers up....

            Profar - .285/.414/.756, 5 HR, 17 RBIs, 0.4 WAR
            Ozuna - .291/.346/.849, 19 HR, 59 RBIs, 2.2 WAR

You're right, I guess I still believe Profar can get back to his former top prosper status, plus his ability to switch hit. But yes Ozuna has outperformed him. By the way, any read on my question on Kazmir earlier?

As do I bro. Guys act like I'm the only one that starts over. This was and is the only time I start over. I was doing two separate 6 team franchises and my teams always wound up the same. Wanted to make it more challenging. I'm not the only guy that sims some. Seen a guy that plays 10 games a season he said. I'm no different. Just want the team how I want it before I start to play. And sorry for not having stats as I am currently out of town. When I have them, I always post them in any trade I seek opinions on.

I don't really mind it. I personally like responding to trades, and really don't care if they use my advice or not. It's just fun to me. I used to never actually play any games and start a new franchise every day. Now I play it through. Either way you want to play, it's fine. It's not like the game has rules. Also, with the thread, if you have a problem with what/how someone is posting, then just don't respond and let the people willing to help them help.

I like to use everyone's opinions. Whatever the majority of people say, fair or no go, that's the verdict on the trade. If no go I'll move on and try something else. I thought it was a. Fair trade given the stats so I too it and decided to ask then. I still havnt started season 4 yet so I was checking to see what people said so if I needed to I could undo the trade. And once I have the time, hopefully today or Thursday I'll post the stats for the 3 players

Would WAS SP Reynaldo Lopez + CP Abel De Los Santos for CIN Adam Duvall be fair/realistic? Duvall is hitting .273/.363/.507/12.32 BB%/23.32 K% with a 1.89 WAR, 17 HR, 54 RBI. at the trade deadline. Jayson Werth tore his ACL and is out for season (possibly career) and they're 2 GB in WC and 8.5 GB in division

So I'm currently sitting in 2nd place (Texas) at 31-22, 1.0 GB of the Mariners and my starting pitching needs an upgrade. Hamels, Darvish & Griffin are all pitching well for me. Perez is servicable at 4.50 ERA, but Holland & Lewis both have an ERA over 5. So I'm looking to upgrade, here's a couple guys im interested in.

                          Rays - SP Matt Moore (2-7, 62 IP, 53 K, 5.81 ERA, 1.68 WHIP, 0.33 WAR, 4.82 FIP) Rays are 9 GB, and I think he could be a decent buy-low candidate.
SP Drew Smyly (2-3, 63.1 IP, 66 K, 3.69 ERA, 1.42 WHIP, 0.82 WAR, 4.14 FIP) is also another guy who catches my eye.
Twins - SP Phil Hughes (5-3, 67.1 IP, 35 K, 2.94 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, 0.77 WAR, 4.28 FIP) Twins are 12.5 games out already, so I assume he could be ready to change teams.

alright in my Jays Franchise, i'am getting near the trade deadline and i just got a offer from the Texas Rangers:

                            To Texas:

RF Jose Bautista, 90overall, 35 yrs old

                            To Toronto:

RF Nomar Mazara, B pot, 21 yrs old
LF Ian Desmond, B pot, 30 yrs old
SP Martin Perez, C pot, 25 yrs old

since Bautista is making 14 mil right now, the 3 from Texas are making a total of 7 mil. Now since i dont need Desmond, i can probably flip him for bullpen help. or even use Desmond with Storen to pick up some decent bullpen or even a prospect or 2.

I think this sounds pretty good actually. There are people who might think Lopez is too much to pay (#48 in BA midseason Top 100) for someone with basically no track record, but Duvall has nice power in this game. Cincy also needs pitching like a camel needs sand.

It's still a bit early to know where teams would shake out on trading. 31-22 puts you somewhere in late May?

I think Hughes makes the most sense. Moore might be buy-low with those stats, but I doubt TB would have any interest in selling low. I'd offer up whichever 2 B prospects you like the least for Hughes.

This doesn't seem fair to Texas. There's no way Mazara is getting traded for a rental Jose Bautista. I'd also suggest you include stats next time. Bautista's stats are important here, although anything short of MVP candidate stats makes this very unfair to Texas.

well, Bautista is hitting .270/.327/.531 26 home runs(2nd in AL)

Desmond is hitting .260/.288/.414 5 home runs
Mazara is hitting .257/.328/.392 5 home runs

the problem i have with mazara expectation is to be a Star, so i give him a little bit of a boost, i would need to put him in lead off since i still have Tulo, Donaldson and EE who are also are expected Stars.
