Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
Finnegan was pitching poorly, 5+ ERA in both seasons and lost some potential before year 3 though still a B so probably mid B at best and totally angry. The prospect was Alen Hanson. Decent enough but not much usage since I have Avery Romero. The kids I got are fictional draftees and I know no one does fictionals here as I learned when mentioning trades with info and stats before for my carryoverLast edited by KBLover; 08-10-2016, 01:38 PM."Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
I'm in year 1 of my franchise with the Jays using post deadline rosters. The CPU has Yasiel Puig in AAA. Looking forward to next season I will not be bringing Bautista back, and Saunders could be gone as well. Assuming the CPU re-signs Reddick for LA, what could I give up to grab Puig? Theres really nothing I wouldn't be open to giving up in terms of prospects. Would one of Guerrero JR, Reid-Foley or Pompey be a fair main piece?
Thanks.Comment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
Year 1 of my Brave chise and am in a battle for last with the Reds, I made a trade proposal to the Cubs who are sitting at 72 wins most in the ML, now this is an August Trade.
Cubs Get- Viz- 3-1 1.79 ERA 23 Saves
Whithrow- 2-2 2.99 ERA
Johan Campargo- C Rated, .250 avg. 4 hrs, 12 rbi in AA
Braves Get- Eloy Jiminez- 58 OVR and B Potential A Ball
Dylan Cease- 65 OVR and B Potential 4-5 3.89 era in AA
Joe Nathan- 4.25 ERA Fast Decline and the $2.2 mil owed
Now I play single team control but have force trades on so I could mimic every deal made during the deadline through the Braves, long and tedious lol. Now my rationale is this is the Cubs chance to win, and having the Viz power arm from right side would compliment Chapman Power from Left and play well with Maddon and his match ups. I have not executed this deal yet because it was fair on the bar meter, but try to stay as real as possible and I guess just needs yalls take. ThanksComment

I think you could get something for Vizcaino, but I'd recommend looking at other teams that need bullpen help.
EDIT: As a final point, Vizcaino doesn't make a good August trade candidate because he'd be claimed by everyone and the Cubs would never get a sniff at him even if they wanted him back for the 47th time.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
I think he's viewed as a has been to a lot of clubs these days. He definitely still provides value, but even if he's hitting well I think the Brewers will still get underpaid just because it's Braun. He's not someone I would ship off big prospects just to get~ Return of the King ~Comment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
So I pulled the Nolasco and Meyer swap for Santiago. My next deal will be the Nunez deal that sent him to the Giants. But before that deal I am going to unload Suzuki. Dodgers and Rays are the top candidates as they are in first like me and need catching help. I am dealing for Mesoraco in two days when he comes off the IR so won't need Suzuki and no reason to DFA with teams sending offers for him.I am just looking at C prospects or low rated MLB bench caliber guys.Follow my Twins franchise http://www.operationsports.com/Tmizzle/dynasty/Comment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
Pablo Sandoval has 3yrs. $54.8MM left on his deal
Ryan Braun has 4yrs. $75MM left on his
To get the money a little more even you could add someone like Joe Kelly to the deal and send a low level prospect back to Boston.Comment

Before Benintendi came up I thought Boston would be a fit for him in a swap of bad contracts.

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
So in the first year of my Dodgers season, and I'm 45-27 in mid-June, but have AGon, Utley, and Van Slyke of the DL for 2-3 months ( all recent injuries). I'm really hurting position player wise as Micah Johnson has hit under .200 since Utley's injury, and Turner needs regular days off, so Kendrick never gets a day off between those two. Also I have McCarthy about to come off the DL (I set IRL injuries at the beginning of the season), plus Urias tearing it up in AAA. I would really like to deal a current big league SP of mine for a solid, veteran 2B, or someone who could fill the spot better than Johnson, while freeing up Kendrick to play some LF, some 2B, and give Turner some days off at 3B (Kike is struggling).
I was thinking of dealing Scott Kazmir, currently in the first year of a 3yr, $48M deal. He is 8-5 with a 2.57 ERA and 1.03 WHIP in 91 innings. He also has 5.64 K/9, 0.4 BB/9, a 3.75 FIP, and a 1.47 WAR. Obviously he's getting by on a bit of luck, so I would also like to strike while the iron is hot. I know this isn't realistic, but could anyone at least give me a gauge of his fair value? I'm fine with a 3 way trade like Kazmir to a contending team with a SP need, prospects from that to a 3rd team, 3rd team sends me a 2B or player who could fill 2B adequately. What are people's thoughts?Comment

Apparently Heyman reported that Cashman asked the Braves for Foltynewicz and Inciarte for McCann. That is a ridiculous ask right? Or am I looking at this from a biased view. (I'm a Braves fan)Comment
