Re: Baserunners Diving Back on Line Drive Hits (Glitch or User Error?)
I see it when I play but it's user error as I know sometimes I will hit the R1 or R2 trigger and send my runners back. All you have to do is tap it and they will dive back. Don't know if it's tied into power swing cause I use normal and power and had it happen. Be more careful around the R1 -R2 button and see if you notice yourself hitting them ever so softly. But then again it could be a bug, hope that helps.Comment

Re: Baserunners Diving Back on Line Drive Hits (Glitch or User Error?)
I have played 3 games since trying to replicate this and I haven't been able to do so successfully. I have used power swing and hit lines drives through the infield but haven't seen the runners dive back.
Nemesis brought up a good point in the thread and its something that I use, but are you using AUTO sliding? I control mine manual.
That is the only other difference I can think about that might be causing this.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Re: Baserunners Diving Back on Line Drive Hits (Glitch or User Error?)
So how exactly does auto/manual slides work? I use auto, does manual mean a baserunner will never slide unless I make him or is it that I simply have control of how he slides if I so choose?Comment

Re: Baserunners Diving Back on Line Drive Hits (Glitch or User Error?)
On auto slides the CPU does all the sliding for you. The other option is "assisted" where the CPU may slide for you in appropriate situations if you do not input a command.“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment

I am going to be focusing on using Power Swing with my right hand fingers securing under the controller, and off the R1/R2 buttons to see if that eliminates the issue.Comment

Re: Baserunners Diving Back on Line Drive Hits (Glitch or User Error?)
Line drive in the hole between 1st baseman and 2nd baseman, both the runner on 1st and on 2nd dove back to the bag and my runner on first got thrown out at second before he could recover and run there. This was in conquest mode. I haven't seen it in franchise or RttS yet.Comment

Ditto for me on the settings and regular swing (X button), and it just happened to me for the first time today.
