Heh, seeing the name "Biggio" makes me want to wish for a (probably hidden) HBP rating. Determines how likely a hitter is to avoid a pitch, or how much effort a hitter will use to avoid a pitch coming way in on him. Perhaps even how close to the inside or outside line on the batters box he stands.

High rating means he'd barely move/make a token effort and pitches might narrowly miss him. Low rating means he's ducking out on anything getting kinda close to his hands.

Holy hell man. That would be sick if they actually implemented that!

They aren't going to end DD, and they likely have a separate group of people that works on the DD side of things, so I highly doubt it effects gameplay at all.

Gimme more fielding equipment yo. Seems every other catcher today is wearing the Nike setup since they make the largest sizes on the market for taller players, or Mizuno for smaller players. Also gimme more bat companies! MORE!!

Also fix the missing Union Station at MMP pls

I'd like to see a change in the logic for how All Star rosters or assembled, or possibly make it like OOTP where you have the freedom to change it despite what the fan voting says.

It's been the same way for years: the game picks 5 starters, 1 middle reliever, and 6 closers. First off that's not realistic. It should be 7 or 8 starters with 3 or 4 closers.

But it also seems like the game decides the pitchers regardless of what team they're on. So then when they fill out the rest of the roster I've seen guys on bad teams hitting like .210 making the All Star team just to arbitrarily give that team a rep. The bad team may have one or two decent pitchers that in real life would have been picked to be their team's representative but the logic in The Show bases pitchers entirely on voting totals.

I don't know...it's just an idea. Having full control would be fun. Sure you could be a jerk and put like 15 of your own players on the team, but who cares? Your game, your rules.

At the very least if you won the previous years pennant you should get to pick the reserves & pitching staff.

I just thought of something that I want to see. The baggy jerseys on smaller players would be cool as well as having small player body builds. They made a big build for David Ortiz now they should do it for small players

I don't believe I said DD had anything to do with gameplay, my post was rushed and not put together well.

I agree. I love the baggy jersey look on Jace Peterson for the Braves with the stirrups look. Jace isn't real small but he's way from being tall/big too. I think he's 5'11" or so weighs around 175-180lbs.

My one small wish is that they display more stats in rtts. So they have a leaderboard that keeps track of all your career stats, even for the stats they don't display in the locker room page or player card page. I just wish they would display those year by year totals.

The one thing that I've always wished was addressed was the fact that there is one single animation for when your team wins the play-in game, DS, CS and Workd Series.... There should be increased levels of joy for each level or at least just have five or six different canned animations for each situation... No hitters, perfect games, walk offs.... They are all the exact same every single time... If you hit a walk off home run in April and in game 5 of the World Series it should be different. It shouldn't be the same exact canned animation.

The one thing that has always bugged me about this game was that the intense moments don't ever feel as intense as they should.

At this point I'd settle for some work being done on the GIDP issue that seems to have hung around for years on end. I've hit into 101 in 79 games and it's not as simple as "dont swing at anything low", I purposefully wait for something middle or above and I still watch as my guys beat it into the ground for another double play. I've hit into 42 more then the next worst team, so here I sit with a team batting average that ranks me 7th yet I'm not selective enough to not hit into double plays where Im ranked dead last and by a wide margin, makes zero sense.

An import feature would allow you to basically start a franchise day one with the initial rosters. As SCEA adds players each week, you could download the individual players and import them over the fake (or user created) minor league players.

So, you're wanting the feature of being able to add/import players inside of franchise mode even if it's SCEA created players? That would be nice for sure!

While it's a good idea, if we're talking about franchise here, it wouldn't make much sense if the players stats in-game didn't match his real-life stats. Unless I'm missing the point.

Say a player in your franchise is batting .240 at the all star break and has dropped 2 points overall, while the same player in real life is batting .320 and SCEA has raised their overall by 2 points. If you import the updated rating into your franchise, it'll show his real-life overall gain despite a significant decline in performance in-game, so you're basically negating everything the in-game player has done up to that point.
