This is how the numbers should look on the back of the Jerseys without names in MLB The Show!

In fact I think even Jerseys with names have the numbers to low. As you can see screenshot 2 there is only a tiny space between the name and number. In MLB The Show 16 the space is to big like you see in the 3rd screenshot.

Is this ever going to be fixed?

Catcher gear wrong helmets for catching while when batting it is correct!

I have noticed now with at least 2 teams the Phillies and the Rays their catchers are wearing the wrong helmet when catching but when they are batting it is the correct color.

Example 1

When the Phillies are wearing there home alternate jerseys in real life the catcher should be wearing the Blue helmet while catching behind home plate and batting. However for some strange reason the catcher is wearing a different color helmet for batting and catching behind home plate. And the sad part is this was actually fixed in 15 but for whatever reason Sony got it wrong again in 16.

Screen shot 1 and 2 show the helmet the Phillies catcher should be wearing for both batting and catching with the home alternate jersey.

Screenshot 3 as you can see here the catcher is wearing the all Red helmet which is wrong.

Screenshot 4 here you can see the correct Blue helmet being warn while batting with the same home alternate jerseys.

screenshots 5 and 6 you can see again this time with the Rays Home jerseys see the catcher wearing a light blue helmet while behind home plate and when batting the helmet is the correct dark blue.

I am guessing there are a lot of other teams with their catchers also wearing 2 different helmets with the same jersey.

Maybe this should become a sticky like the Socks thread?

So, I have no idea where to post these bugs, so I'll do it here. If it is the wrong place, and a mod wants to move them to the socks thread, then by all means.

I'm putting them here because the other thread is a like a real life comparison thread, and this one is for bugs in the game.


First one.

Instead of squishing all the rings together on the high stirrups option, keep them all at the appropriate scale and just 'hide' the top one underneath the pant leg.

In other words, get rid of the top ring and show just the bottom ring on the high stirrups, like this...

The sanitary socks on the Athletics stirrups aren't the same shade of yellow. In the low option, the sanis are much more pale.


For the Diamondbacks, the high socks are a completely different color than both sets of stirrups. I think this is only a problem for the home uniforms and not the road unis. I haven't checked the alternates yet.

The Reds also have something weird going on with their low stirrups on both the home and road uniforms. They should just be solid red, but...

Lets keep sock color issues in the sock thread please, this is for everything else. Until Ramone specifies what they are looking for.

I am just trying to cut down on threads so that every single member does not feel the need to start another thread for every single issue.

I've always been bothered by the Cubs C on their helmets. The C is too skinny in the game. I would actually like if they reviewed all the hats/helmets for correct proportions, but the Cubs always stuck out to me.

The Dodgers have a 3D logo on their batting helmets now (both matte/3D logo were unveiled the 2nd week of the season). The matte was patched in The Show.

Oh, yeah. I don't have my PS4 with me, so I can't check, but did they patch in the matte helmets for all the other teams that had them? How many teams have them now?

Padres were in from the beginning of the year - not a patch.

The Rockies only had the matte helmets patched in to their home and home alt uniform. The Road and Road Alt did not have the helmets patched but they should have been. The Rockies wear the matte helmets at home and on the road.

Padres were in from the beginning of the year - not a patch.

Yankees matte road helmets weren't patched in. Not sure if they're still wearing them only in road games this year, or if they've switched to using them full time. For all I know they could have even ditched them entirely for 17.

Please fix this left shoulder uniform glitch. It is quite annoying. It shows up in DD team uniforms, as well. It doesn't show up when you are zoomed in. You have to use the medium camera or zoom out on a replay.

The Cardinals road alternate pants should have a blue belt, but one of the patches in MLB 14 changed it to red.

This might not be the exact correct place to post this but I definitely wanted to post it so we could get some attention on this issue.
Team colors in the player editor are limited and often incorrect. Colors that should be added include:

• Blue Jays color 2 should be red

• Brewers color 3 should be yellow

• Cardinals color 2 should be navy blue

• Dodgers color 2 should be red

Also, a few other colors could be flipped so they're consistent they include:

• Orioles color 1 should be black, color 2 should be orange

• Pirates color 1 should be black, color 2 should be yellow

• Giants color 1 should be black, color 2 should be orange

^These are based off the Miami Marlins color 1 being black and color 2 orange.
