Re: MLB The Show 17 Supports 4K & HDR on PS4 Pro
Since 4K and ps pro seem to be a hot topic this year. I'm just learning more about the pro but it seems that most games that come out give an option for frame rate or graphics. So my question is, is it going to be like this going forward with all games getting the option or is this system able to up the graphics and maintain 60fps. It seems like when you up the graphics capabilities, frame rate takes a hit. Just curiousComment

Don't buy it , horrible tv for gaming. When tested with a 4k resolution, the input lag was not stable and was cycling from 51.0ms to 67.3ms. Best budget 4K tv for gaming would be Samsung UN40KU6300 20.4ms. Here's a great review http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/samsung/ku6300

Re: MLB The Show 17 Supports 4K & HDR on PS4 Pro
I have a PS4 Pro, and a Samsung 6290, so its 4k, but no HDR. what are my options then? enhanced visuals? is that 1440? with a decent framerate? I am guessing other options are 1080p. and 4k, with or without hdr? (my tv doesn't have true hdr, so i can't choose that)Comment

True 4K and 60fps will be very hard for the Pro to produce for the majority of new titles. Computers that cost twice as much as a Pro struggle to get steady 30fps at 4K. 60fps at 4K requires a crapload of power for anything not small-scale, rendering wise, like an NBA arena for example.
I think the future of the Pro is going to keep the current trend of either offering FPS mode and a resolution mode, or just shipping with a single Pro mode that ups the resolution automatically and maintains the performance target of base, whether it's capped 30 or uncapped
When I heard The Show was gonna offer true 4K output I expected it to probably be 30 fps target, with dips, if it's steady 30 I'll be impressed

Re: MLB The Show 17 Supports 4K & HDR on PS4 Pro
I have a 4k tv no HDR and the pro, wondering if anyone who has played on both a 4k tv with no HDR and a 4k tv with HDR, how big of a jump is the difference and is it worth buying a 4k tv with HDR? Also has anyone played on an oled tv, how is that?Comment

I just tried to switch to enhanced visuals and it says I need a port that supports HDMI 2.2! My TV is from 2011. I don't think it has that. Damn.
