First things first..go to picture, then expert settings and make sure the UHD color is on for whatever port your PS4 is connected to.

Then next, settings > Picture > Special Viewing Mode: Game mode on

    Backlight 20
    Brightness 45
    Contrast at 95
    Sharpness at 0
    Color at 50.
    Tint 50
    Smart led High
    Black level auto
    Resolution at auto
    Dynamic contrast off.
    Color tone warm 1
    Gamma 0
    Color space auto

PS4 - set all visual options to AUTO, do the test when done to verify everything 4K and HDR is working and supported as they should be.

P.S. you will see a setting in the picture menu called HDR+, ignore it and do not turn it on, it's a Samsung thing they came up with to try to make non-HDR content better. You will not be using this feature if you know what's good for you.

What is resolution at auto? Don't see that in tv settings.

So I had a ku7000 and just took it back for a ks8500. The difference is amazing. Game looks amazing. Keep in mind my ku had hdr on 8 bit. I can still tell a huge difference.

These settings are almost identical to mine. I used the Disney wow blu-ray to calibrate mine and got contrast best at 97 but everything else is the same as yours and I use warm 2 even though I admit some games look better with warm 1 but that's a matter of preference.

I've noticed that too. I switch between warm 1/2 depending on the game. Really the only change I ever make.

I have the KU6500 which is just the curved version of the 6300, and I agree games in HDR look great, but I just can't seem to get this game to look right.

I wish the HDR setup for this game had something similar to how Mass Effect sets it up. You have to move two white squares together until they match the same white. And the game looks great. With Ghost Recon and NBA 2K you don't even have to do that. All you have to do is max backlight and contrast.

I've tried so many settings with this game and just keep going back to HDR off because it looks better. I've given up for now.

Another thing this TV does that sets it apart from some other mid-end 4K TV's for gaming, is fantastic input lag.

Mind you, I've had HDR intensity (in the game itself) cranked up to the max.

If -- in game -- I toggle to either enhanced visuals or 4K mode, the brightness is immediately pumped up...to where they should be with my given HDR intensity settings. And, it's not my mind making up things that are not there -- the difference is clear as night & day. Once I switch back to my desired high framerate mode, it stays at this brightness.

The problem is, once I exit the current game in progress and return to the MLB main menu, and I start up a new game, the darker visuals return and I have to repeat the visual mode toggling.

Hoping San Diego Studios can get this fixed...

                              P.S. -- running PS4 Pro on LG UH8500 ...
I have this issue where the screen in much darker almost like it forgets hdr is on.. I exit to audio video options and move the hdr intensity up or down one tic and apply and the hdr returns.. seems to be a really bad bug.
