Ah, makes sense. Yeah I'm hoping they can fix it because the game looks great until I look at the sky haha. It's especially bad during day games

Does anyone have the kS8500? Its $100 cheaper than the KS8000 at BB right now. Thinking of picking it up. Any differences besides the curve?

I was looking at the hisense 55h8c in bestbuy. Im not sure if your settings are messed up or what but it looks wayyyyy too cartoony and off to me. Didn't wanna spend double on the sammy 8 series but may have to.

The grass in those pictures looks ridiculous. I hope it's just the settings.

Maybe people should stop telling each other how awful their settings are. No one can definitively say what another person is seeing. If you find something you think looks good, or see someone else's picture that looks good, go with that.

People are giving opinions on pictures we're all seeing that obviously look extremely bad. I think for the most part most are trying to help. It's also obvious many people come to this thread for help because they're having issues, and there are some people in this thread who are also a bit knowledgeable on this as well. Maybe it's me but I don't see what's wrong with that.

People are saying what is working for them or what they think looks good, and others are telling them how off the settings are. That's what the thread is becoming. I'll just bow out, though.

Apparently my TV, lg 55UH6150, has HDR Pro.

So when i go into the HDR settings, it's locked, i guess the PS4 pro doesn't recognize this as real HDR?

Anyone know anything about this, or something i need to do to unlock the HDR setting in game?

Edit: nevermind i figured it out, had to turn the UHD on.

I think it looks better without HDR enabled anyways. I'm gonna keep tinkering with it.

I looked at the 8500 before I bought my 8000 and when I saw the display on at BB there was obvious dark spots in the middle of the television. Idk if it has something to do with the tv being curved or if it was something with their display unit but I ultimately decided on the 8000 and couldn't be happier. If you're already spending $1,100 on a tv what's another $100?

Hmmm interesting. From what I've read, they are the same exact tv just one has the curve. Well, $100 is still $100 to me. If its just a curve is the only difference I would rather pocket the $100 and take my son out to see a ballgame.

The lighting inside stores is also a terrible condition to view TVs in vs in your home.
