Had a weird issue playing this game on a KS8000 where suddenly the screen went black for a second like it lost the signal before coming back on. This is the first it has happened but it gave me a scare.

Has anyone else had it happen to them?

Probably just HDMI handshaking. Nothing to worry about.

Is the in game audio visual settings broken? Every time I set it for something, it seems to take in-game in correctly. I close the game out and restart and it seems fine. Then I turn off the system and play a game, then check those settings actually in the game and they have not saved what I set. Thoughts?

Bought a Pro and a Samsung MU7000 (49"; 4K; HDR) this week! I'm very happy!!! I applaud everyone's input on getting settings straight with our various units. Not much has been reviewed on my Samsung yet...new to market. However, the logic and information you all have used has greatly assisted me in getting initial settings right with a new set. It's been mentioned, but I will reiterate - Interior lighting for all of us differs in many ways. My eyes had to go with adjustments that were different in some ways from the posts on here. Again, getting the base logic was very resourceful from you guys, AND I AM ABSOLUTELY LOVING THE MLB 17 EXPERIENCE BETTER THAN I EVER HAVE!!! THANKS!!

if it continues to happen a bit more and it bothers you i'd first try reseating the cable, secondly I'd try a new cable. make sure you get a newer hdmi that is capable of supporting 4k

Some serious knowledge in this thread!

                            Q. I am thinking of upgrading to a 4k uhd tv but keeping the standard Ps4.

Is this worth doing without getting the pro?

If you have an older tv and want it for movies and sports etc then sure.

If you buying it for gaming, you're wasting a ton of potential without getting the pro, in my opinion.

Guys we have it backwards.. the HDR is broken at the start until u make a change in game to audio video settings.. try it.. i thought it was on after a restart but its not.. its too dark no matter where the slider is.. kmce you change the settings or tweak the hdr slider it comes on.. yes it will look too intemse abd white will be clipping but now the hdr slider is effecting tge look. It's breathtaking at 30 percent nut any higher seems to really washout my oled.. I'm telling u just try it..
