Man I hate to come in here just to whine, but this annoyed the hell out of me last year, and they didn't tweak it at all doesn't seem like: they have to do something about how the crowd distributes.
Game treats first-level outfield bleachers the same as the rest of the lower bowl, meaning that for stadiums like Comerica Park, where there's no upper deck in the outfield, damn near every game looks like a sellout because the crowd distributes to the bleachers in the same way they do behind home plate or behind the dugouts.
Simple solution is to give outfield bleachers the same treatment given to the third deck; as it stands, when I draw 22,000, damn near all those 18,000 empty seats are in the upper deck - game looks packed unless I happen to catch a glimpse of the third deck. It looks absurd and defeats the purpose of having dynamic attendance in the first place, imo.
Not to mention I'm still questioning why I am drawing 36,000 to an April Tuesday day-game in 40° weather in the rain. A game like that should be empty unless maybe you're the Red Sox, Cubs or Cardinals. No one else is drawing dick to a game like that.
It's just not handled very well.
