Hey! I am totally new to Baseball and im about to get the game in a few days, will mainly play RTTS.

Im gonna make both a SP and a Outfielder similar to Ichiro, is he a RF?

For being a starting Pitcher, is it possible to be a Submarine Pitcher? It looked pretty awesome. Also what attributes are the most important to increase as a Pitcher?

For Outfielder, im trying to make something like Ichiro, he is a RF right? Again what are the most important attributes to increase as a Outfielder?

Like i sad im new to Baseball so have no clue about teams and players, and i hate to be draftad by a team that dont need the position im playing in other sports games, so im wondering what are some teams that dont need a SP or a Outfielder? I really wanna try to avoid getting drafted by those teams.

Forgot to ask since attributes apparently decay after a certain amount of time, how do you deal with that? Make sure you save a certain amount of points when it happens or what? Cheers!

I noticed when I was promoted to Triple A I'm batting in either the lead off or clean up spot. So I started keeping track of my AVG & OBP for the 2018 season. I'm not batting against lefties in one spot & against righties in the other. It's completely random. So here it is:

Lead off
AVG .326 OBP .385

Clean Up
AVG .243 OBP .277

I see way more strikes leading off which isn't completely unrealistically. But I also draw more walks. My RBI are about the same no matter where I bat. Thought it was interesting.

Ichiro has been primarily a right fielder. If you are creating a player in his likeness, you should go with contact, speed, fielding. Arm strength is also important for right fielders.

I believe that you can make a submarine pitcher. For SP, stamina and velocity can help you early in your career. Get 3 solid pitchers before you start added 4th and 5th options. Fastball, change up, and curve ball are your generic 3 pitches but you could go with others and have good success.

I wish they would bring back the manager interactions. I liked being able to switch positions. Why can't they just leave well enough alone. Removing key items from rtts so you are blind to every transaction and information about the league or your own organization. No reason to remove interactions, transactions or information!!!!

I am new to RTTS, but have been playing The Show for years. I have a lot of stubs from playing Diamond Dynasty and am wondering if there is any way to use my stubs to improve my RTTS players' attributes (aside from buying equipment for my player to use)?

When you're in RttS mode you can visit the show store and buy either straight points, or iirc, 2x boosts for certain numbers of games.

Just had the craziest game in RttS yet.

Still stuck in AAA after getting traded from the A's to the Cards so playing for Memphis, against Oklahoma City.

Took a 7-3 lead into the bottom of the 6th and our team bats around and puts up 9 runs including my fourth career grand slam (for both AA and AAA) to go up 16-3.

OKC bats around the top of the 7th and scores 7 to make it 16-10.
We bat around AGAIN in the bottom of the 7th and score 10 runs to make it 26-10, including a triple for me to get the cycle. I may have had a chance to stretch it into a inside the park HR but didn't want to risk it.

Some more runs were still scored in the last two innings as I ended up going 6-7 (ended on a K) with the cycle and 7 RBI. Easily my best career game.

Final score: 28-15! Crazy!

So, simulation seems really strong. I've played about 10 games through mid june, and hit 3 home runs, but during simulated games I've hit 24 home runs, and lead by 10. At least the Batting Average isn't as absurd at .299, but that's still high for a guy with 74 and 67 contact

I got Motown to create a RTTS Cap for me but I can't figure out how to start with him. The cap isn't on an MLB roster when trying to select him. Any idea how I get this done?

If I understand your question, you can't use a cap from outside the mode. You have to create your player when it asked you to when you start the mode

You can add the cap to a current roster. Make sure he is on the ML roster and not in the minors. Save the roster, start a new RttS. Choose your cap after using the "current ML player" option.
