    Am I missing something?

load the roster you want to use, import the Griffey cap to that roster. Then start the RttS, choose current roster, choose mlb player and select Griffey.

Yeah did that and he was not there. Might have to save the roster with the imported player...

Cannot be done; you must do a player lock franchise.

Unless you are talk bout modeling your player after existing MLB player. Then IT may be difficerent

Thanks. When you're choosing your player in RTTS, there's the option "legend". Any idea how/when are these going to be available?

Re: Official MLB 17 : Road to the Show Thread

Pretty frustrating. I am on the Rays, leading the league in HR, RBI, Average, made the all star team. I was out of town for 2 weeks, come back to play and some of my stats were down for some reason. I then got the call to the coaches office and was sent back to AAA! Then I hit a HR for the Durahm Bulls saying it was my first AAA HR (it wasn't since I played AAA a year ago) and I would remember this for a lifetime...Oh I will, just not for the HR lol. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me.

Thanks a lot. When I select the legend, it resets his appearance. Is there a way to keep their appearance?

When you picked him, you should have resembled him. I did it with Kenny Lofton and I had to change my appearance bc I look nothing like him lol

Updating from way long ago when I talked about my early call-up. I'm a third basemen for the Phillies now. I'm 26 in the year 2024 with 7 years and 27 days of MLB service time. I have tried to be a little cocky in my manager and agent interactions to try and push the buttons a bit and so far I like where it has gotten me except some really crappy pitching staffs.

My career so far as a 3B: EDIT: I forgot to add that for the past three seasons, I play a series, then sim a series. It really helps keep it fresh and I can get through a season pretty quick if I do it like that.

This isn't much to add to the thread but it's great when you see the stats of some of these players being realistic. I try to make mine as realistic as possible

Finally finished my first year. 3B for the Cards.

Missed the playoffs (Rangers won the WS over the Dodgers hahaha I wish) and in the offseason the Cards offered me 1.2M for a 1yr contract.

Assuming money means nothing in this game, I countered for 1.1M for 1yr. They declined and offered 1.2M for 1yr. Take the money they are saying I guess.

                            On to Year 2.

                                I did. It's fun.
