Is starting with a created player, still not an option in this mode? I haven't played The Show since 15' but I remember the current player option, didn't allow me to use my created player. I like the mode but I hate the grind, would be nice to be able to create a 90+ ovr LF from the start.

It's the same as past years in that respect. Gotta start from the bottom.

Picking up the game after work and going home to let the game install/update. Won't be able to play until later this evening put I plan on making a CF and running through at least the prospect day/showcase games and the draft tonight.

I created another RTTS power hitting 1st baseman. I got drafted in the 1st round number 10 by the Angels. First game with the Mobile Bay Bears , first AB a two run HR two rbi's , a major jack to right field.

Killed it in the Showcase games including a walk off HR in the first game. Ended up getting drafted by Oakland 1st round pick 6. I'll have to post a few pics when I can.

Created a SS and got drafted 2nd round to the Mariners. Decided to sign with them instead of going through the showcase again and potentially getting drafted by a team I don't like. I don't really care about Seattle so my plan for now is to just grind and request a trade before I get to the bigs. I would love to play for my Braves but they have Dansby. So hopefully I go to a "blue blood" team or just an up and coming franchise that needs a short stop. I would love to go to Pittsburgh.

Created a 1B. Didnt hit great. Base hits and few RBIs. Drafted in 2nd round to Toronto. Looking forward to the journey until OSFM comes out and i start my franchise

I'm playing SS for the first time and I have a question for all you experienced. When it says the pitch is going to be a fastball or offspeed, should I be doing something with this info? Wasn't sure if this was a clue to move in/out or closer to 2B/3B. Thanks!

Started as a shortstop. Made my skill set a bit different then normal putting most my points in power and fielding. Had a couple hits in the showcase and got drafted by the Astros in the 2nd round. Wanted to stay in the middle infield but looks like I'll be moving if I make the bugs in Houston. Have to see how it goes

Well I didn't get drafted by my jays, ended up going 13th overall to the Pirates as a 3B modelled after Josh Donaldson! Pretty stoked, the Bucs are loaded with young talent, and I get to see some of the NL parks I miss out on during my Jays franchise. Not to mention I'm a steelers fan so not a bad 2nd option.

I tried playing through numerous times to get through to Toronto, but Pittsburgh wouldn't leave me no matter how well I did or didn't do.

About to start my 1st game in AA!

Decided to start a new RttS as a SP, went through both showcase games, got drafted by the Reds Rd 3, Pk 3. Signed with them so now my journey begins (until OSFM rosters come out and my Yankees Franchise starts up)

This year I thought I'd do something different, and make a more defensive minded player.

I created a short stop, and used the attributes for fielding, and one or two for contact. Really going for good defense, and getting on base. Not too concerned about hitting out of the park.

Being an Australian, I always play in the International team.

I struggled in the first Showcase game, going 0-4 with 1 RBI from a sacrifice.

The second Showcase game went much better. 4-4 with a walkoff homer to win the game. I was polite and didn't ask too many questions of my adviser.

Not thinking I'd go high, I was surprised to go in the first round to the Cubs at 30. The depth at SS isn't great, so I think I might move up to AAA quicker than other clubs. The only thing is the starting SS for the Cubs is 23 year old Addison Russell, who I don't think is gonna be moved on anytime soon.

So I started my career with the AA affiliate Tennessee Smokies.

I've played 12 games, with an average just above .300, 3 HR and 12 RBIs.

My fielding is going ok. Had a couple of reactionary mistakes, which were completely my fault (flicking the stick slightly the wrong way) but the mechanics of the R3 and R2 controls makes fielding fun.

Also made a defensive SS. Put 2 points in arm (max), 2 points in speed & one in fielding. After the scout day, my speed, fielding and arm were all at elite. Hitting was below average though.

First showcase game i went 0-4 w/ a backwards K.

Second showcase game i went 1-5 w/ 1 RBI. I hit a single with the bases loaded in the top of the tenth to get my first hit and rbi.

Ended up getting selected by the Giants with the 22nd pick in the 3rd Round.
