This is my first time playing The Show. In RTTS I'm a pitcher and after 20 plus games I have NEVER ONCE been at bat! All I do is pitch. Does batting come later, or is one of my in game settings doing this?

Are you a AL or NL pitchers? Are you a starter or reliever?

You'd only bat if you were a NL starter. OR, if you were a AL starter in a interleague game. Relievers don't generally hit.

I'm still in the AA league. Sometiimes a starter & sometimes a reliever. So should I restart RTTS as a fielder if I want to bat consistently?

Yes, if you want to hit consistently then you will need to start a RTTS as a fielder.

Wasn't sure where to post this, so I figured start here.

Will the broadcast pitching cameras (stadium specific) be updated? Not sure if this has happened in past years.

I noticed after watching some games last night on mlbtv that some current broadcast pitching cameras are completely off (for example Houston). I know you can change it by editing the camera etc, but I've noticed some have changed this year that are not the same as in the game. I tried editing the Houston cam and it doesn't let you zoom out as much as where they had it last night (center field, middle of plate, zoomed out and above pitcher).

I was just wondering if that is something that after the opening week, etc they update within the game (like rosters, etc).

Speaking of cameras, is there any way to change the camera on CPU vs. CPU? I've tried several times but it always immediately kicks back to the default camera, depending on which stadium I'm playing in.

1. Has there been any change to how fielding works in RTTS?

2. Do CPU controlled 3B charge when the batter squares yet vs. when the ball hits the bat?

3. Is the CPU defensive positioning dynamic at all or is it always the same per batter still?

I play auto fielding and I am noticing that there are a lot of would be errors that are called base hits. A couple of things that really made me notice was a simple grounder back to the pitcher and he bobbled it and they called it a base hit. Another one went for a double play and the 2nd basemen threw it in LF and they called it a Fielders Choice. Is there going to be a patch for this?

Highly doubtful, because that's how it's been basically every year. There are a lot of would be errors called hits and vice versa.

I never noticed any problems last season with the errors/hits or at least not this bad. I would at least have games that I have a couple errors. I think I only had 1 in about 20 games.

Is there a setting or audio sider setting I can adjust to better hear in stadium sound effects?

Balls hitting the foul pole?

HR horns @ AT&T after a HR?

Can BARELY hear these effects now?
