I can't give you the starting budgets, but you can edit all attributes and age. I'm not sure about contract details. You might only be able to do that in the main menu roster section and not within franchise.



Typically when I know a bunt is coming, I'll try to throw a pitch at the top of the strike zone and hope the bunter will pop up the bunt. Anecdotally, it seems to be fairly random, meaning that they will pop it up sometimes and not others, so I'm not sure if location actually makes a difference. Player positioning is a big factor in successfully defending a bunt, probably moreso than pitch type/location.



Players on the 40 man do use options when being moved to minor league rosters in spring training. The problem that The Show has it that it does not have non-roster invitees. Those players are able to participate in spring training with the MLB team, but aren't on the 40 man, so they don't use an option when they're inevitably moved to minor league camp.

There is no fix for it. You just have to be cautious with who you place on your 40 man each season. I typically wait until a prospect is within 1 year of a realistic shot at making my MLB roster before I'll put him on the 40 man roster. That way, I can get a look at him in Spring Training, and if I need to option him to AAA/AA I still have 2 years of options to use on him.

One thing to note, I'm not sure if you know this, but the 3 options are 3 years worth. So once you move a player down to the minors and it uses an option, you can move him up and down freely during that season without using more options. That move uses 1 year of his 3 option years. It doesn't mean that you can only move him on and off the 25 man roster 3 total times.

Do you have ignore budgets on or off? I might have to do some testing to try and replicate your issue.

1. How do I know what the hitting and pitching difficulty is set to if I select ANY?

2. Is it a bug or intentional that my PCI moves (zone hitting) when I leave it in the middle? Example, after the pitch, the hitting feedback box shows my PCI covering the upper part of the zone even though I didn't touch it. It usually happens when I swing early at a breaking ball that starts high and lands in the middle or bottom of the zone.

Hi there!
As a The-Show-newbie I've got some problems with the game:
- Some of the settings (audio/video) are locked? Where can I change that?
- Where can I adjust the screen size? There are some big black bars around the screen and I see no option to change that?

I get these too and the only way is to use my tv settings to change it but then for different games I gotta switch back to my previous set up. Annoying.

Ever since the patch has been installed I have been unable to use the button to get to the inbox page.I have tried on 2 controllers.

Is anyone else running into issue editing helmets on players? I tried sending Keon Broxton down to AAA to edit him, and didn't have any luck. Also, I haven't seen them in game, so I assume the protective flaps aren't in the game at the moment?

Protective flaps are not in the game. Can't help with editing helmets, though. I haven't tried that.

I played a online unranked game for the first time but there was no option for fast play. It forced hybrid presentation. Is there something im missing or is this how it has been from launch.

How do I replace free agents when importing players into a roster? I can only sort through teams but not the FA pool.

Solved: Click Roster Control, then click on a team, choose Player Movement, then move the FA to a team, import player over him, then move back to FA.

Can you add guys to the dl retroactively? I just lost a starting pitcher for 1-6 days so I don't want to DL him until I know he'll miss a start, but I don't want to wait 4 days to find out he needs to go on the DL, and then have to wait another 10 for him to be eligible to come off

Flaps aren't in the game. I'm really hoping they will be next season, because you can't watch a game of baseball without seeing at least one to four players with the C flap. The Cubs have at least four players alone who use them. One team! Anyway, as for editing helmets/hats for existing players. Apparently they've said it's included in the player likeness rules they have to abide by. Existing players hats/helmets are supposed to be uneditable.

I downloaded the OSFM rosters for Franchise and I am trying to keep it as realistic as possible. I am playing as the Cardinals but Luke Weaver is not injured and was wondering how I would be able to injure him and others who aren't available for lengths of the season.
