Any trade with division rivals would probably increase his asking price. Think I saw going rate was a B level prospect for Gardner. I would assume you would probably have to include maybe two B level prospects if not, at least a B and a high C-Level prospect.

Even at that point the Yankees would have to be out of it and assume someone in the minors like Fraizer is ready to be called up.

Yea, the Orioles are rich in C prospects it seems. I'm thinking of using Cody Sedlock at the main piece going back.

So, I think I need to blow it up, whether the fans in LA will like that idk... but the reality is I need to get this franchise on track somehow.

Options, its a tough one I understand it.
Contenders and stats would all be appreciated, and make it much easier to help you out.

Its still relatively early but the notable teams on top in the NL are:

Giants, Cubs, Rockies, Mets, Braves and Nats

          AL are:

Yankees, Red Sox, Blue Jays, Indians, Tigers, Mariners and Astros.

No one is dead as such, but these teams have solid winning records so far.

If you are after stats from my team, lets just say there is nothing that stands out. Kike Hernandez at .246 has the best average, thats how bad it is.

Im relying on teams looking at the players name and contact

I gave them Ryan Borucki (2 above Murphy on the MLB.com prospect list) and Cavan Biggio (2B/57/C) for Tellis. Hope that was enough!

They won't be looking the player, they will be looking at the stats to see if they can get that player at a low rate, and then see if they can become solid again.

              - Kershaw can get the out of this world package, even with his contract.

              - All of the other starters aren't worth much.

              - Jansen could get a decent package if he's throwing well.

              - Rest of the bullpen not so much.

              - A-Gone and Andre are dead weight.

              - Puig could land 2 B's.

              It just depends.

This is where we are thru April, im 2 series and change into May... so im missing those numbers, but they add very little in terms of upward progress.

NOTE - Puig and Gutierrez are both on the 60 day DL.

Right, 40 games into my Rays franchise and the Angels are off to a flying start, 25-15 with a 6 game lead in the division, but they've just lost Andrelton Simmons for the season. We're 14-26 and very much on the rebuild.

Does Brad Miller (hitting .250 with 7 HR) going there to play SS this year, then 2B the next couple of years make sense? They don't have a whole lot of prospects, but they probably have enough to get Miller. A deal based around Matt Thaiss as the main piece make sense? If so what else needs adding one way or the other?

I don't think it makes any sense for the Angels to give up one of their few upper end prospects for a marginal player like Brad Miller. They would probably just pick up some veteran SS floating around or pay a smaller amount for someone like Freddy Galvis, Gift Ngoepe, Nick Ahmed, etc.

Plus if Simmons goes down then the Angels shot at the playoffs lowers drastically.

Would you put Miller as a marginal player? He's not a great fielder or contact hitter, but he hit 30 homers last year and still has two more years control. I guess homers aren't as valued as they used I suppose

No way the Rangers make this deal. In fact, I don't think the Rangers would have any interest in bringing in Braun. McCutchen is a FA 9 times out of 10 in Franchise, Texas would rather wait a year and grab him if they're shopping for outfield help. There is also a good chance they lose Lucroy. Thus, you're looking at taking their best pitching prospect, their future catcher and their favorite utility guy for an OF on the down tick, with an inflated contract and the PED stank.

Miller is an average player. His best season was a 2 WAR year. He's just not worth sending that much. Plus there's a reason he had to play 1B last year. He had a -14 DRS last year at SS and a -11.3 UZR. Basically he can't play SS unless you don't care at all about defense

                            Does R.A. Dickey have any value? Stats: 4-4 W/L 99IP 2.90ERA 1.14WHIP.

Fair enough, I guess they could move Espinoza over there, put Escobar a2nd and play Valbuena at 3rd if they were going down the "don't care about defence" route anyway. I'll hang on to Miller and see if anyone is in need of a power left handed bat at the deadline
