Re: MLB 17 Trade Discussion Thread

A few days away from the trade deadline in my Indians franchise and am looking to add a bat (preferably LH) in right field to bolster the offense for a playoff run. I'm .5 games behind the Tigers for the AL Central lead.

Austin Jackson, guyer, and Chisenhall have all underperformed for me. Gonna call up Naquin or Zimmer to play center and willing to send the other 3 down or out of town in a trade.

Here are my targets. Their respective teams are out of the playoff hunt and are listed as rebuilding.

      Yanks - Gardner
      Rays - Dickerson or Rasmus
      Dbacks - Peralta
      Reds- Duvall

Best/realistic fits and what would it take to pull any of these off? Open to other suggestions as well.

In the Orioles franchise what would a deal look like for Gardner from the Yanks or Peralta from the Dbacks?

          Thanks guys!
These are you guys then. Voth or Cole are ready (Cole's clock has already started) and Fedde, with progression, should be up sometime next year. The Nats rotation is stacked though so, IRL, Fedde may spend all of next year maturing.

Pitching, pitching, pitching. P.Murphy with his injury history can be one and you pick the other. Be kind, Tellis is ready (for a backup role at minimum). When it comes down to it, if you think you're overpaying, just swap lottery tickets.

Oof, Eaton's injury definitely led to some Gardner + Chapman to WAS dreams last night.

Don't know the O's farm system very well, but I hear Gardner for a B-Prospect is the going rate. As a Yankee fan, I would think pitching is more attractive than position players, but they don't have a lot at third beyond Andujar either.

Funny you say that. I was planning to make Gonzalez, which is B potential in my chise, part of any deals that I made. I got my SS of the future in Lindor and was gonna find one in next year's draft. I was wanting a lefty bat, but I might check in on Duvall and look more into this possible trade.

What could I package with Daniel Mengden to get A.J. Ramos from Miami? Two weeks until the deadline, Miami is 43-49 10.5 back in the division, 6 out of WC #2

edit: also, I changed my mind on Detroit sending JaCoby Jones to the White Sox for Soto, and instead have them going after Tyler Flowers from Atlanta
                      DET (43-39, 2nd): C T. Flowers (76 OVR, .256/.308/.394 7 HR 32 RBI)
                      CWS (30-52, 5th): SP S. Baez (63 OVR/70 Potential/#11 Prospect), RF S. Moya (60 OVR/79 Pot, .359/.431/.592 6 HR 15 RBI 103 AB in AA)

Playing as the white soxs and would like to see what I can get from the nationals for Nate jones and/or David Robertson . Nationals are tied for 1st place with the Mets but their bullpen isn't doing well. As far as someone closing games for the white soxs I have jake petricka who had been lights out with a 0.98 Era

EDIT: David Robertson 2.21 ERA 18 saves , Nate Jones 4.50 Era

Currently April 10th in my new Rockies chise & I was wondering about a possible realistic return I could get for Gerado Parra with the recent emergence of David Dahl the dude is absolutely RAKING for me & i've considered moving from Parra with Tapia & Patterson waiting in the wings aswell ( Rocks have TONS of OF depth) Though since I have two years of control over Para & Blackmon is a free agent at 2017's end I've also thought about the possibility of Blackmon walking away & filling the CF void with Dahl, so i'm quite torn about what I should do

                          1) Trade Blackmon before he walks & get maxium return for him

                          2) Suck it up & pay Blackmon what he deserves the dude is a legit STUD & move Parra

Help would be appreciated! thanks in advance

Would TJ House or Brett Oberholtzer for Paulo Orlando be fair? KC is looking for SP depth and have lots in The OF.

Orlando is hitting .278/.321/.403 with 12 RBI and 1 SB/2 HR. 72 at bats.

House is currently in AAA 3.45 ERA, 1.21 whip, 10Ks in 15.2 innings.

Oberholtzer also in AAA has a 2.13 era, 1.66 whip and 8Ks in 12.2 innings.

I could also add a lower C infielder like Gunnar Heidt, Cavan Biggio or Christian Lopes if it would push the needle.

13-20 with the Dodgers atm and its rough, things are hardly going to get better.

So, I think I need to blow it up, whether the fans in LA will like that idk... but the reality is I need to get this franchise on track somehow.

Options, its a tough one I understand it.
