Looking to add some bullpen help. What would each of the following names cost? All players are on teams out of contention

Hector Neris - 38.1 IP, 42 SO, 3.29 ERA, 3.03 FIP, 3 years of arb left
Ryan Dull - 50.1 IP, 58 SO, 2.84 ERA, 1.88 FIP, 1 year of renwal, 3 years arb
    Sean Doolittle - 30.1 IP, 37SO, 1.19 ERA, 2.11 FIP, 2 years left at 3.5 mill
Brandon Kintzler - 22.2 IP, 15 SO, 1.99 ERA, 4.54 FIP, expiring deal
    Alex Wilson - 35.1 IP, 20 SO, 1.78 ERA,2.97 FIP, expiring deal
Brad Brach - 46.1 IP, 59 SO, 3.30 ERA, 3.00 FIP, expiring deal

Moylan is ancient so you're hoping for a C prospect.

Hammel had a rough market this offseason. He doesn't look to be pitching any better than he did last year so I don't think you could get any top-100 prospects for him, but you could get something decent if a team in need of pitching is contending.
Game you always know how to take the wind out of my sails. Okay, lets see.

Eaton is out for the season for the Nationals. I tried to keep that realistic. What does a Cain/Herrera return look like? A package built around Fedde or a package built around Kieboom/Soto?

The Duffy/Perez news is disappointing (albeit understandable). Those are the two players I could actually see getting some real value in. If there is no justification, that is fine. But if there is room for justifying the deal, we could always chalk it up to new a new GM who sees the need to hit the reset button.

Moylan to Tampa Bay? They have a pretty bad bullpen. Given their surprising play this year, we could work out something that is decent for me but low-risk for them. The bullpen has an average ERA of 4.35 that is greatly helped by Tommy Hunter's 1.83 ERA. I kind of like Guerrieri down in AAA. He's having a pretty impressive outing though so I could see Tampa Bay walking. 9-7, 2.43 ERA, 100 IP. I could pair Jonathan Dziedzic with Moylan to make this a little more comfortable.

What are your thoughts on pairing Hammels with Hosmer? I've noticed that the teams that are both competing and could use an upgrade at first base could also use 3-5 guy in their rotation. Here are those teams:

Texas (Very interested in Gallo but I know we both probably over-value him.)
Boston (Would be willing to take on Ramirez's contract so BOS could resign Hosmer.)
New York (Three SP with ERA's over 5. Carter is Carter)
Houston (Really poor season but they could definitely use a boost at first base and McHugh is their only SP with an ERA below 4.46.)

Lol so I'm pretty dumb. I kept reading June as July and thought I was approaching the trade deadline. I was wrong obviously. I still have another month left. I'll be able to see how my team performs before making moves. I'll come back bf post if I plan on making any moves and need advice.

Fedde and Kieboom would be a good package for the combo. Add in Voth too Those are two good prospects and a flier and it helps both teams.

I mean you always can make trades, but these would be a really bad look.
Why would any player sign a long term deal with you if they see the last two guys who got extensions were immediately shipped away

Yeah I don't see why anyone trades a guy with value for Moylan regardless f how he's performing. He's 38 and just isn't very valuable

What are your thoughts on pairing Hammels with Hosmer? I've noticed that the teams that are both competing and could use an upgrade at first base could also use 3-5 guy in their rotation. Here are those teams:

Texas (Very interested in Gallo but I know we both probably over-value him.)

Yeah I'm a bad person to value Gallo

Boston (Would be willing to take on Ramirez's contract so BOS could resign Hosmer.)

Ramirez is better than Hosmer so I don't really see why they do that. They get out of a sizable contract only to downgrade while competing and probably have to give Hosmer as big a contract as they just shipped away

New York (Three SP with ERA's over 5. Carter is Carter)

You could try this, but you aren't going to get as good a return as you want.
Hammel is a back of rotation piece and I'll go on about Hosmer blow this.

Houston (Really poor season but they could definitely use a boost at first base and McHugh is their only SP with an ERA below 4.46.)
Same as what I posted about the Yankees. But is he much better than Gurriel? And if the Astros give up solid pieces to fix 1B and SP they're get actual upgrades

Here's my Hosmer soapbox. Since 2014 he has been worth a total of 3.6 WAR. That included totals of 2014: 0 WAR 2015: 3.4 WAR 2016: -0.2 WAR and 2017: 0.4 WAR. Basically he's replacement level but for some reason he has a public perception of being star level. He just isn't that good.

Cool, I can do this. Pretty fair as that is as good as I would really expect from that package.

I mean you always can make trades, but these would be a really bad look.
Why would any player sign a long term deal with you if they see the last two guys who got extensions were immediately shipped away.

Sure, I can definitely understand that. Most Free Agents would be very hesitant to sign with a team that is sending people out at the beginning of their deals. I just wasn't sure if there was a past example of a new GM going in and dealing an early contract player. I think I'll hold off on dealing them this season if it's really an unheard of move. I wanted a challenge right?

Yeah I don't see why anyone trades a guy with value for Moylan regardless f how he's performing. He's 38 and just isn't very valuable

I was trying to work down from the Casilla deals we talked about earlier this year. He's not Casilla but I felt with some success, he could be useful for a team with a really bad bullpen as a rental "go for it" kind of guy. Probably better suited finding a mid-D prospect here.

Ramirez is better than Hosmer so I don't really see why they do that. They get out of a sizable contract only to downgrade while competing and probably have to give Hosmer as big a contract as they just shipped away

I'm probably relying too much on his play this year and his play in this season of my Franchise. He's batting .240 with 12 HR and 50 RBI so far, which isn't bad just not exceptional. In looking at his attributes, he's scheduled to lose 5 points in thirteen categories and 10 points in one category. His only plus attributes at this point are both a point and they're stealing and baserunning. Thus it looks like he is scheduled for a big drop off in what he brings to the team. He's also 33 and will be 36 when his contract is off the books.

You could try this (New York), but you aren't going to get as good a return as you want. Hammel is a back of rotation piece and I'll go on about Hosmer blow this.

Yeah, New York didn't feel very good. They're not competing enough to justify an expiring contract and an older two year pitcher.

Same as what I posted about the Yankees (Houston). But is he much better than Gurriel? And if the Astros give up solid pieces to fix 1B and SP they're get actual upgrades

I mean I think he's better than Gurriel. He's also still on the right side of 30 and has a slightly better WAR. I hear what you're saying about fit though. Odds are, Houston in this situation, either doesn't make a move or makes a move for better talent.

I don't disagree. Earlier we decided Texas should/could give up two B's and C for Hosmer alone. In this situation, Hosmer is playing much better and I'm including Hammel. I know neither of us does well at gauging Gallo's worth but I'm curious as to if something like this would work (Maybe Hampshire or someone can help us evaluate):

            TEX Receives:
Eric Hosmer (.330 AVG, 26 HR, 62 RBI)
            Jason Hammel (3.36 ERA, 6-4, 96.1 IP)
Paulo Orlando (.308 AVG, 8 HR, 34 RBI)
            Corey Ray (Low C)
            Parker Morin (Mid C)

            KC Receives:
Joey Gallo (.231 AVG, 5 HR, 19 RBI)
Jurickson Profar (.281 AVG, 4 HR, 13 RBI)
            Connor Sadzeck (Mid C)
            Shin Soo-Choo (.233 AVG, 9 HR, 36 RBI)
            Carlos Arroyo (Low D)

Texas gets a much better First Baseman and the back of the rotation arm they need. They also get Orlando who can operate as a low-cost 4th Outfielder and a project farm piece in Ray. In return, I get Gallo and Profar. I add a hopeful future bottom of the rotation piece in Sadzeck and I take on Choo's contract so Texas has more breathing room to resign guys like Darvish, Hosmer and Lucroy. Edit: I added Parker Morin to the deal to Texas in return for Carlos Arroyo. I need more outfield farm pieces and Morin gives Texas another young catching prospect.

All of my responses are in bold above.

Thanks for the help! That should close out my deadline deals. Maybe I'll send Moylan to the Mets for Tebow. He would at least sell Jerseys for me.

Speaking of Eric Hosmer, I'm doing a carry over franchise (started last year) in which he's slashing .262/.342/.455 and worth 1.7 WAR at the end of June.

"Last year", however, he slashed .331/.398/.547 and was worth 7.2 WAR.

So I suppose my question is how much would that affect his value if at all since he posted such a monstrous year the year before. And what would his value be currently since, in my franchise, he's in line for a pretty decent year.

Looking for a bench bat for my braves. What would Steven Souza of the Rays cost?

He is hitting .256/.338/.492 with 14 home runs.

If he is unattainable what would Mitch Moreland of Texas cost??hitting .284/.325/.513 with 15 homr runs. Expiring deal

Both teams are out of contention

I was going through and looking at potential trade chips and I came to Marlins and really don't know what to do with them to improve them for the future. I know the real life reports of them potentially shopping Yellich, Ozuna, and realmuto. However, in my franchise Yellich is hitting under .240 and would prefer to keep him there. Ozuna is slashing .265/.360/.425 with a WAR of 1.1 and JT Realmuto is playing terribly with a batting average under .220.

What could be realistic returns for Ozuna and Realmuto given how they are performing? I don't have any teams in mind just looking for prospect value for those guys.

If he is unattainable what would Mitch Moreland of Texas cost??hitting .284/.325/.513 with 15 homr runs. Expiring deal

Both teams are out of contention
For Souza, maybe Soroka or Wentz +? Maybe even someone like Maitan. He's still got 3 or 4 years of control left and he's a pretty decent bat.

Moreland isn't going to cost too much less considering Texas is the one holding all the cards.
