Re: MLB 17 Trade Discussion Thread
Probably something like $8 million and $10 or $11 million. But it doesn't really matter. The DBacks traded Didi away. They also have 3 viable options at SS that wouldn't require them trading anyone else away. And I won't insult anyone's intelligence by saying why the Indians wouldn't have a want/need for Didi
Im getting a value of 62.5 surplus? Does that sound about right?Last edited by babybombers; 04-07-2017, 06:09 PM.Comment

Re: MLB 17 Trade Discussion Thread
Under the assumption you don't like Toles/Pedersen/Puig as your OF of the future, I'm sure LAD could put a package together for Cargo or, if HOU falls out by mid-season, Beltran for a playoff run. Are you looking long term or win now?"for love of the game" - B. ChapelComment

If you wait until the deadline in your franchise and he happens to be dealing (and the Nats are pushing for a division title), that may up his value...some."for love of the game" - B. ChapelComment

Re: MLB 17 Trade Discussion Thread
I would try to trade watson cause he'll be a free agent. I would look at young relievers with less than 2yrs service time. I try to build a young team with less than 3yrs service time. I would like to get Neil Walker back but he's on qualifying offer. I have budgets on but force trades on for real life deals for the bucs. Watson is last years Melancon but slightly less value.Comment

Re: MLB 17 Trade Discussion Thread
Like many of you I'll be starting a franchise when OSFM drops tomorrow night. I do 30 team control and play as Oakland, and I would like to acquire Jose Quintana from Chicago. What would a realistic package from Oakland need to include?Comment

Re: MLB 17 Trade Discussion Thread
Coming full circle, if you're looking for a comp for Didi, J. Segura would be a good place to start. He's just a shade less valuable than Segura and he got moved for T. Walker (FV 60). That's your market.

I was just told that my market was a FV 60 for Didi. Also it would be an upgrade for the pirates.Comment

Re: MLB 17 Trade Discussion Thread
May be a slight upgrade, but doesnt mean theyre trading away the guy they refused to trade for the pitching they desperately need.. like saying Castellanos is an upgrade over headley at third for the yanks, so im taking back Frazier and shefflied. Upgrade, yes. Realistic, noOakland A's - Seattle Mariners - Detroit TigersPittsburgh Steelers - Green Bay PackersDetroit Red WingsComment
