          Hey all,

I've been pondering over ways that I can be more of a service to this thread. I think I have a respectable level of knowledge/insight in terms of trades but I'm nowhere near some of the others in the thread. I was wondering if you guys would find the below helpful:

          https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...fek/edit#gid=0

If so, I can maintain a running log of all trades that are approved in the thread. We're not even a month into baseball and we're already telling some to go back and review old trades. This could save a lot of time for many users (excluding me, lol).

It's sorted by "Selling Team" but each row is sortable, thus you can search by player, selling team, buying team and caveat. Information on caveats are available at the bottom of the page. Additionally, I've included hyperlinks for each trade that will bring users back to the page in which those trades were discussed should they need any additional information. If this seems like a waste, just let me know. However if you think it can be useful, let me know and include any changes or additions you think the log could use.

I think it looks great. It may end up being more effort than you bargained for but it would certainly add value. Make sure to add the link to your signature block.

I am probably more guilty than most of referring folks to the search function. I don't do it to blow people off, I do it because when we go through trades we're typically not writing off the tops of our heads. There is thought, reasoning and math that goes along with it. No real good reason to have that effort lost and plus, it adds additional background that could answer objections before they even arise.

P.S. Anybody want to trade for S. Marte now? He should be well rested for the second half of the season.

2 B level prospects. If one is a P, make him a high B and the position player a low B. We've talked about this a few times, this may be a good test of the spreadsheet Mr. Serendipity is putting together.

Give the Diamondbacks a project. Is Acevedo a C POT in the game? That feels about right.

I am the giants playing all games in franchise using newest OS rosters. I am 10-6 and I know I have to find some one else for outfield. I have all current rosters and cpu etc no trades yet. Although I dont have melvin upton, he is hurt for a long time.

I just do not have a lot of room in minors for trades,so I am not looking to get an amazing player. I just need a decent outfield player, hopefully power stat first since giants lack power. I thought maybe Nick Markakis or Paulo Orlando. I know neither has power but are both a upgrade over who the giants have now.

I wish i could provide more ideas, but I really do not know. I am asking here for you I should go for. Like i said not going for an amazing gold/diamond player here. I dont have the players to make a trade like that, i do not want to trade any of the giants big name players.

I'm sure it will be a burden at times but I think I can handle it. People will just have to be okay with occasional 48 hour delays between new additions depending on my schedule.

Zero wrong with that! I had to use the search feature for some of the info I put in. It's there for a reason and it's really useful. I'm just hoping this will save everyone, including the people assisting, a little bit of time.

These are the kind of trades I like to talk about. You need some 'pop', almost a full step above a player like A. Pagan. First name that comes to mind is M. Holliday (NYY) if they fall off. Then the next tier of guys, D. Peralta (I just talked about him) or S. Smith (BAL) or M. Cabrerea/A. Garcia (CHW). My advice would be to start looking around the league in your franchise and find a mid 30's guy that has an OPS of .800+ and start targeting them. It's early for you so there is still time. A guy I like in game (since you are pushing the buttons each time) is D. Norris (71 contact L). You can "afford" any guy I listed, pick the one you like the most (play some quick games to get an idea of the swing) and give us some line data + WAR and we should be able to help you find a bat.

A piece and a couple of prospects. What do you want? Where are you starting the rebuilding process? Feliz is throwing well IRL, is he doing the same in your franchise? Are you looking for strictly pre-season value or selling at the break?

I'm also available. I'm 5'10" 185lb RH that can touch 86 on the radar gun. Do I help? That was probably too much sarcasm but offering up a guy that had a good year and a player that we've bounced around for a couple of decent prospects doesn't really give me much to go on.

I need pitching. Maybe a decent bat. But mainly pitching. Probably gonna sell in mid June or so depending how far back I am. I just started it and am only on my third game.

Would like to deal Christian Vasquez for a 3B to replace Sandoval in the starting line up. Swihart and Leon is a more than capable duo at catcher so might as well deal Vasquez.

Is Vasquez too much for Todd Frazier (CWS)? What about something like Vasquez+Abad for Frazier+Robertson?

Feel free to share any other 3B targets as well. Thanks!

The issue with Braun is he hits his 10/5 rights on May 24. The Brewers have the most leverage they are going to have in the next 4 weeks or so. MIL may decide this for us within a month. Get to mid June quick or there is a probability you may have to settle for whatever they get back from LAD.

Here's a twist... Tolles+ with a third piece depending on how much money MIL wants to give up. With Puig coming out of the gates hot, it makes it real difficult to move him from that market without fans calling for Friedman's job. Part of this comes from an article from Nick C. out of the Boston Globe...some of it comes from me.

Not sure if this is the right place, but I noticed with the base OSFM rosters that it shows Machado and Harper as being in the last years of their deals? I though they werent entering free agency until the 2018 season?

this changes my plans with the Yankees as I might have to unload Headley/Castro/Gardner to free up money.
