Re: Uniforms Need to be Overhauled
The way the development cycle works I'm not even sure the uniforms will be switched next year for the Under armour switch. If at all it might not be until the Show 20.

Re: Uniforms Need to be Overhauled
I meant just because they're changing to under armour doesn't mean The Show will change the uniform template in next year's game. As the poster above said, they could easily just put the Under armour logo and whatever uniforms changes right on the same template.Comment

Re: Uniforms Need to be Overhauled
I thought I would post this as it has really brought my colors to life. Maybe it will help someone else.
I have a PS4 pro, settings on HDR / 4K.
I also have a Samsung 9500 SUHD tv.
Picture mode on Game.
On the TV I have the backlight turned all the way up to 20 of 20
Brightness at 35 of 100
Contrast at 70 of 100
Sharpness at 65 of 100
Color at 75 of 100
Tint at 50 of 100. Neutral
This has made the reds pop, the blacks and dark blues look much better as well.Comment

No thanks. I’m not changing my TV settings specifically for a single video game. It’s ridiculous that I should have to.Comment

Re: Uniforms Need to be Overhauled
Now that I am in the HDR World with my Vizio, I have to eat some crow. The colors look MUCH better, and give me the tingly feeling just thinking about what PBR is going to do further for the jerseys. There are obvious warts that come from the 1 template Jersey, and odd misrepresentations on the batting helmets, but I am finally in a place where I feel confident that SCEA can deliver on jerseys/colors.

Re: Uniforms Need to be Overhauled
How many games do you play with HDR? My TV has HDR settings that are independent of the SDR settings for the same input. The Show is the only game I play on my PS4 that has HDR so I was able to set my TV up so that the colors look good, without having to change anything for other games.Comment

Re: Uniforms Need to be Overhauled
I guess that is entirely your option. I choose to experiment and try to improve things, while others just accept what they have and gripe about it. Now I remember why I quit posting fixes I have found along the way.Comment

Assassin’s Creed, Madden, FIFA, 2K, UFC, Forza, F1, Skyrim, Witcher, Battlefront 2, etc. I’d say 80% of the games I play most/have been playing in the past few months are HDR capable. I have changed my settings in the past when I knew I would be playing prolonged amounts of The Show and only The Show. I just don’t think I should have to change settings for one game, and now that I have upgraded from a basic Xbox One to an Xbox One X, my HDR settings apply to more than just The Show. And I don’t like when people suggest it because that isn’t a valid solution in my eyes.Comment

Re: Uniforms Need to be Overhauled
Sorry, but I don’t consider it a fix. It’s a band-aid for a problem I have with no other games. I’m more annoyed that it has to be suggested than the suggestion itself, so forgive my gruffness. I would rather the colors just be fixed.Comment

Re: Uniforms Need to be Overhauled
Don't try and fix the game that way, though. It's like one of those broken house remedies where you tell your guest: "You gotta jiggle it a little bit." Nah, let's resolve the inherent problem first.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
