Id be interested in what a fair return for both DeGrom and Thor is.

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
Like a package deal? If so I dont think there's a team in baseball that can make that move with just prospects

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
I personally don’t mind the deGrom trade but I don’t like the Syndergaard deal. What kind of push are we talking about here? It’s hard for me to imagine that Preller would be willing to give up Tatis Jr. or even Gore at this point. San Diego is in a weird position in which they’re going to be pretty competitive soon but it’s still another two-three years out. Putting all those eggs in the same basket for Thor just doesn’t seem like a good move for them.

I just don't see too many other teams that have the prospect capital to make a move for him, I guess. Yankees could do it, but IMO you need to include Gleyber, and they won't. Dodgers could do it if they didn't do the deGrom deal, but that'd be a lot of pieces moving. Braves could do it, but again, I think you need to have that big name (ie. Albies or Acuna), and I doubt they'd be willing to do that.
Any thoughts on any potential landing spots for him?2025 Expos Expansion:https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...gid=1295163793Comment

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
Push would be signing Machado & Keuchel. Means they keep Urias, and the majority of their dearth of prospects.

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
Hey guys looking for the value of a few Marlins traded a lot of the big fish before the year even started in my first season but looking at some players that have a few years of control and are playing well going to try and get some prospect capital back my way as the Marlins arent anywhere close in my chise.
3 guys I was looking for a surplus on as I have difficulty calculating guys with renewal and ARB years
SP Adam Conley on pace for a 5.5 WAR season has 4 years of control
1B Garret Cooper on pace for a 3.5 WAR season with 6 years of control
2B/SS Miguel Rojas on pace for a 3 WAR season with 3 years of control
Any others stats required can be provided
Adam Conley im thinking could be a fit with the Rangers as in early July they are leading their division by 7 games and have had several rotation injuries and a few guys getting lit up
Cooper Im not sure of a good fit looking for help here.
Rojas The Royals are winning their division by 8 games right now and lost Merrifield who is still out at least another 2 months. Goins and Mondesi JR not playing well in his absence. Not sure the Royals have anything worth trading for a player playing as well as Rojas with the control I may wait and see if another team loses a player to injury.
Thanks in advance allComment

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
If I were the Mets I would not without Torres. However, you might could get there with Andujar, Sheffield, Frazier and then more on top of that. But realistically you need an insane headliner. Like how Quintana got Eloy Jimenez and Sale got Yoan Moncada. Yankees can't really provide that headliner if they take Torres off the table

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
The value may match up but I'd say no as the Mets. If I'm giving you a star player I want a prospect that can become a star to headline the deal. Those guys are good prospects but I don't think a single one of them has even been ranked a top 20 or 25 prospect

deGrom's value is around $100 mil. Gleyber is $81.4. Probably deGrom for Gleyber + a pitching prospects like Chance Adams + a so/so guy?2025 Expos Expansion:https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...gid=1295163793Comment

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
Hypothetical here, I’m playing an Angel franchise as my second franchise and it’s late in 2019. Missed the playoffs in 2018 and are on the outside looking in again for 2019. I know there really isn’t a trade for Trout that would match up value wise but working under assumption Trout is leaving after 2020 to go play on the East Coast (Made up story for my franchise, don’t know his real intentions).
Phillies call in the offseason with a deal of Sixto Sanchez, Jhaylin Ortiz, Mickey Moniak, and Odubel Herrera. Too much for one year of Trout?

I'm the Cubs at the all star break, 3.5 GB. Looking to add a starter, Chris Archer to be exact. I've had Darvish on DL 3 times and now Chatwood out 1-2 months. What would be fair package for Archer?Playstation Network:That70s_Gamer

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
Thinking of trading Stroman to Dodgers for SP Urias... obviously stroman isn't having a great year (real life) and urias hasn't been up to expectations... change of scenery would do good for both..
How can I make this a fair trade ???Toronto Maple Leafs
Baltimore Ravens
