Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
In june in my marlins franchise I had a few guys I am wondering what their trade value is
First is Adam Conley he is on pace for a 4.4 WAR season and I am looking to capitalize on his breakout performance. He also has 3 arb years after this year what kind of value does that give him?
The second player I am wondering about is Miguel Rojas. He had a decent WAR last year IRL. In my Chise he is on pace for a 4 WAR season an has 2 Arb years remaining? He also has INF positional versatility.
Lastly would be Cameron Maybin I believe he is about 11M in value but just wanted to double check.
Would the Rangers who are competing to this point, leading their division by 5 games be interested in upgrading from Rua to Maybin in LF and with a lot of their pitchers hurt or under performing want Conley as well. Hamels is out 1 more month they just lost Fister for the year. Colon pitching well for them. Moore is hurt to and they have Volquez and Perez getting tore up. What kind of return would Maybin and Conley pitching the way he is net from the rangers?
Also what kind of fit at SS or 2B does Rojas have I am looking at the Dodgers as they have Forsythe platooning with Locastro both of which are playing poorly. Or potentially the Royals as they are leading their division by 6 games and just lost Merrifield for 2-3 months and have Goins playing everyday.Comment

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
I'm 8 games into my A's franchise sitting at 6-2. Jed Lowrie just broke his shin sliding and is out for a few months. Luckily Franklin Barretto is tearing the cover off the ball and Lowrie was hitting only .173. I called up Jorge Mateo but I'd like to get a depth/platoon guy who can play both infield and outfield. Looking at a guy like Leury Garcia from the White Sox. Any other ideas? What would it take to get someone like him? Would like to unload Liam Hendricks if possible."I know losing feels like kissing your sister, but the way were playing it feels like kissing a really hot step sister!"-Billy Bob Thorton from the Bad News Bears

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
I started a Reds Franchise with rosters after the Herrera to Washington deal. Those were the most accurate rosters. Anyway..
I am (of course) looking for something for SP Matt Harvey, 29-68-B 5-7, 3.78, 1.47 whip 1 CG SO 7QS 63 k 19 bb
What is a realistic deal, not the best but most realistic.
Teams in the hunt are:
WAS, CHC, MIL, STL, LAD, ARI, COL, OAK, CLE, SEA, BOS, NYY, TOR, MIN, LAA, HOU, BAL
Thanks in advanceComment

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
Hey guys, looking for some advice on my first trade to kick off my 30 team control deadline deals. Here's the situation:
Spoiler
1. D-backs desperately need a catcher for now and for the future:
Alex Avila - .208/.318/.290, 4 HR, 25 RBI, 34 BB, 73 SO, 243 PA, 1.4 WAR
John Ryan Murphy - .208/.239/.275, 1 HR, 7 RBI, 6 BB, 46 SO, 157 PA, -.3 WAR
2. Marlins are struggling (38-49), as expected, and are gonna be selling all they have this deadline
3. D-backs also need infield help as their SS are struggling heavily:
Chris Owings - .230/.289/.348, 5 HR, 29 RBI, 20 BB, 62 SO, 282 PA, .8 WAR
Nick Ahmed - .204/.234/.320, 4 HR, 13 RBI, 7 BB, 28 SO, 188 PA, .2 WAR
Here's the trade:
Spoiler
D-backs receive: J.T. Realmuto - MLB (.236/.327/.354, 4 HR, 19 RBI, 18 BB, 26 SO, 165 PA, .6 WAR), Martin Prado - MLB (.301/.358/.428, 7 HR, 34 RBI, 23 BB, 39 SO, 340 PA, .3 WAR)
Marlins receive: Jon Duplantier - AA (2.16 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, 87.2 IP, 90 SO, 41 BB, 2.83 FIP, 9.24 K/9, 4.21 BB/9), Daulton Varsho - AAA recently called up (.314/.386/.510, 4 HR, 16 RBI, 10 BB, 26 SO, 114 PA), Cody Reed - AAA (3.32 ERA, 1.48 WHIP, 86.2 IP, 69 SO, 54 BB, 3.67 FIP, 7.17 K/9, 5.61 BB/9)
Reasoning:
Spoiler
1. The D-backs are primed for a postseason run (47-39, .5 GB in NL West, WC leader)
2. A slight underpay for Realmuto was due to his injuries early in the year and underwhelming play this year.
Thanks for looking this over guys, basically looking for some advice on the trade, because I would really love to see Realmuto on the D-backs even though they are not my team. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!Last edited by cubsgocontinental23; 07-02-2018, 01:09 PM.Comment

In my carry over from ‘17 Marlins Franchise I traded Relamuto to ARI for RP Jared Miller + LF Murillo + 3B Jacobsen (TOP 50). Now, at the time Relamuto was hitting .270 but a good catcher is hard to come by in this game and worth the price for a team that missed out on re-signing JD. With LA primed to contend for a while I’d think they would do what they could to get over the hump. Hos average is a bit of a worry but looks legit enough to meComment

What's Byron Buxton trade value. He's up and down in his career so far. 2018 was supposed to be the year he continues his break out. But was just demoted.Comment

for Harvey straight up. They have Triggs, Cotton on the 60 day DL and have Homes and Montas in the rotation. Holmes has a 9+ era in 3 starts and Montas is going to make his debut soon. Maybe they want/need a veteran for the playoff push...

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
I'm in year 2 of my Braves franchise and some of the gambles I took haven't panned out. I'm hovering around .500 at the AS break and looking to get some players who can help with a push and stick around. I am considering a move for Michael Fulmer.
I know his value is crazy high, but he's got one less year of control now and hasn't pitched great. I was thinking of a package that looks like this: Ian Anderson + Dakota Hudson + Christian Pache. Does that get Fulmer or do I need to swap in Soroka or Wright in place of Hudson?Comment

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
Hey guys I'm looking for players that are similar to Hunter Renfroe/Tyler Glasnow/Christian Friedrich. Players that were top prospects who haven't really panned out. Thanks its greatly appreciated. Players that are relatively cheap but can still kinda play at the MLB level.Comment
