Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
Can I get some thoughts on a Chirinos/Swihart trade?
Boston is competing, Chirinos is playing pretty well. Swihart is rumored to be on the way out already, I'm starting a minor rebuild (hoping to have main prospects called up in 2-4 years for next wave of competing) and Swihart is a Texas boy.
We have 33M Surplus for Chirinos on the log and I think we all settled on 15-20M in surplus for Swihart. I think Boston values Swihart's age, so I could toss an extra 5M of surplus on Swihart for additional balance.
Is this a fair deal?
BOS - Robinson Chirinos
TEX - Blake Swihart | Travis LakinsComment

Also, one of the responses to your original trade was that if the Brewers were trading Burnes, it'd be for a better 2B than Lowrie.
Sorry to jumble this thread up, just trying not to rip anyone off.
Thanks for the help!2025 Expos Expansion:https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...gid=1295163793Comment

Ok, I'm fine with that, but you had previously said that he won't bring back a top 100 (Burnes is #60 on mlb.com).

Another other players you could move for Swihart?
Utility man for Swihart could work. He'll be DFA'd soon or laterComment

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
Vazquez is performing really poorly, that is why I was thinking it might be a good spot for Chirinos. But I can always find a different home for him. I have guys like Drew Robinson and Jurickson Profar. Selfishly, I'd like to hold on to Profar. I could also part with a reliever like Diekman. In terms of prospects, I could deal guys like Ibanez, Garay, Alberto or Marte.Comment

Re: MLB 18 The Show Trade Discussion
Using the Phillies right now and one area I see is to get a serviceable lefty reliever. Nothing fancy, but more of a guy that I can use versus tough lefties that won’t cost a ton. Basically, a lefty version of Tommy Hunter would be quite nice. Any reasonable suggestions?

What do you guys think about these deals? Some input would be nice. Obviously assume the other teams in the deals are contending.

Fulmer for Robles and Soto? Do I essentially just have my pick of 2-3 top prospects with Fulmer?Comment
