Hey guys, I just started a franchise with the Giants in hopes of rebuilding. Was wondering what kind of trades/players you guys think I should pursue?

I don’t need full trade examples or values, just targets that you guys think could realistically land with the Braves (eg Machado won’t be traded to ATL and they won’t sign him this winter). Also not really interested in rentals.

I’d really like to try and sign Keuchel, but any other starting pitchers to look at in a trade?

Would they sign Kimbrel? Not sure that’s a good idea.

What other relievers should they be looking at acquiring?

3B - Trade for Candelario? Suarez? Chapman? Sign Rendon? Would LeMahieu move to third?

OF - ideally Acuna moves to right so I need a LF. Depending on who I grab for 3B, this acquisition needs to be powerful. Any good trade candidates?

      Thanks !!!

I would suggest considering the Royals for relief and starting help. Danny Duffy and Kelvin Herrera stick out as solid options that could fit the Braves timeline and shouldn't break the bank. Josh Donaldson could be an impact bat if the Jays are out of the race as well.

how's Austin Riley doing for you? His progression is the main factor in whether or not the Braves go after a 3B.

In my opinion, there's no way the A's would trade Chapman.

As the Red Sox, what it would take to get David Freese from the Pirates?

Also, what would it take to get either James McCann from the Tigers or Robinson Chirinos from the Rangers?

What could Christian Vazquez and/or Rafael Devers get me?

Vazquez would need to go if I got one of McCann or Chirinos as Swihart is my primary catcher.

            EDIT:::
I just discovered a potential matchup between the Red Sox and White Sox, I know this needs some fine tuning, but just to get the conversation started...

Red Sox Receive: Carlos Rodon, Nate Jones, Jose Abreu

White Sox Receive: Eduardo Rodriguez, Jay Groome, Christian Vazquez, Rafael Devers

This allows the White Sox to move Davidson over to first with Devers at third, and this also means their entire infield including catcher is under team control for at least three additional seasons.

Hey folks...has anybody got any ideas on a Jed Lowrie trade? Putting up similar numbers to last season...Brewers, Jays, and Cards are all in contention and lacking at 2B (Wong is out for the season), but I’m open to just about anything.

Hello Love what you all are doing!

I am nearing the deadline in my Buccos Franchise and am wanting to offload some vets.

                I have a question though!

I have calculated Josh Harrisons TSV at 24.57

How do I go about finding a prospect package that makes a fair trade? I see the Point of Pittsburgh article referenced, I am just wondering if there is a list around here or if you guys just use baseball Americas top 100 to rank prospects. Thank you in advance

Fellow Bucco fan here! Not sure where you are getting that Surplus Value, I have him sitting around $7.6M w/ a trade deadline bump to about $13.8M. (Full disclosure, I'm using current Surplus Values, so that could be the discrepancy) That would get you 2 45 FV prospects. If you're willing to let me know which teams are buyers, I can provide you a suggestion or 2.

For example, a trade w/ the LAD would make sense for a Starling Heredia, Jordan Sheffield, and Dustin May package.

First crack at this, but I've got Jed Lowrie's surplus at $3.9 mil.

Given he had a 4.0 war season last year, and is at 2.1 this year (edit: his numbers in the game are similar to his IRL), does this increase his value? I kind of had him as a guy that would bring back a late top 100 + Lotto ticket, but with the formula (if I did it right), he wouldn't come close to that.

                        Thoughts?

                          I have Lowrie at $21.9M w a July premium of $37.3M. You’re looking at a premier prospect (55 FV+) and 1-2 middling prospects (45-50FV)

Recalculated because I multiplied 2017 x 3 instead of 6, but I'm still only getting:

                            2015 war: (1.1)
                            2016 war: (-.7 x 3= -2.1)
                            2017 war: (4 x 6 = 24)
                            =23.1/10= 2.31 x 9 = 18.31-6= $12.31+ July premium.

                            Where did I go wrong?

                            Edit: I'm guessing it's $10/war and not $9...

Either way you cut it. A 34 year old Jed Lowrie isn't going to bring back a top 100 prospect.

Maybe to an organization that needs Lowrie would give their #5-8 pair with #12-16

                                How about either of:

Andrew Knizer + Conner Greene Wong is out for the season

                                or
