Donaldson now can get you a good return. He is worth around $22 million in surplus. That can get you a top 51-75 prospect in baseball.
Yeah, figured as much. I can just eat those contracts, no problem.

Any team you figure will be vying for Donald's services at the break? Anything you think they'd be offering/Jays would be looking for?

If im not mistaken the cardinals were a option IRL. But a trade would push Carpenter back to 1st base and block martinez and voit.

The Mets and Cardinals are the best teams I can come up with.

Tyler O'Neil + two lotto tickets

Dominic Smith + something else that's pretty decent

Twins would be an interesting one, and move Sano to DH or 1B. They have much more to work with here.

I am starting a franchise with the Dodgers.

I am looking to trade for Jurickson Profar and am thinking of trading Trayce Thompson, Joc Pederson or Yimi Garcia.

Is Trayce and Yimi a fair trade?

          Cheers

Gotta ask.. What is the fascination with Profar this year??
Oakland A's - Seattle Mariners - Detroit Tigers
Pittsburgh Steelers - Green Bay Packers
            Detroit Red Wings

              1.05 × 5 = 5.25 × 8.5 (WAR value I use) = $44.625 million

$44.625 - $41.25 million = ~$3.375 million of value. The guy is not very valuable at all. If he was making peanuts it would be a different story. Home runs aren't very valuable anymore. He can't walk to save his life, and his defense is mediocre.

So to figure out your future WAR do you use the 60/30/10 formula? I use 60% of prev yr 30% of two years ago and 10% of three years ago and add them up to get the future war so it factors most recent years instead of only one year.

                It's pretty similar to that.

Yimi for Profar straight up is perfect.

                  Thank you 😀

I am also looking to get LeMahieu. Think he’s going to be a free agent next year.

Should I wait or try and do a straight trade for Forsyth plus lotto pick?

Know the rockies realistically wouldn’t want to part with DJ...

I really wouldn't sign off on it. There's no point to that trade for the Rockies, and I don't believe the values match up.

So having seen this and using a prospect list on MLB.com would Straily to the Rockies for Colton Welker work value wise?

Probably a step below him, the Rockies are pretty high on him.

Do you think there is any way the orioles part with Mountcastle or Sisco? or are both those a step up as well?

or another player I am interested in as he has a live arm and he started out as a Jay is Miguel Castro could Straily fetch Castro or Castro +

Definitely no to both of the Orioles. At 12 million surplus he won't fetch anyone that is a decent standout, it will be a step below that.

                            I believe a top 115-130 prospect type.

Castro for Straily would likely work. Castro has 5 years of control so I could see the Rockies either balking and wanting to keep him, or sell him now for potential help now in the rotation. I don't see anything wrong with that trade.

Okay yah I figured the two orioles are out of play value wise. I think Castro is with the orioles now if I’m not mistaken does that change the likelihood that they would take straily for him as they need pitching?
Also isn their any other team you think would have interest in adding Straily to me the orioles Rockies and potentially the giants look like fits that need pitching. Thanks for all your help and feedback man

Hmmm, the Orioles are in a weird spot. I am not sure if they do that trade...but they need SP help so I would pull the trigger since Castro isn't a needle mover.
