Not agreeing or disagreeing, I just want to say how impressed I am that you created this account in November of 2013 just to post on a thread that didn't start until 2018.

I must have had 15 centered up balls result in a dribbler or weak fly ball. So frustrating.

Go ahead....say I got lucky. I probably did (even though I was sitting all over that fastball), but that doesn't change the fact that it happened. Hitting them consistently is another issue and not one I'm going to fight people on, I'm just emphatically disproving the all-encompassing "you can't hit a HR without 90 power" exaggeration nonsense.

And here's the game history to show it happened after 1.10 (5/24 release).

If the only way to have sensible discussion around here is to call out the exaggerations, so be it. I'm so tired of misinformation (that people try to build their cases around) around here.

So for the latest instance it was the Top of 7th and I had Aaron Nola as the leadoff.

The Marlins changed pitchers and I was given the popup to bring in a pinch hitter for my pitcher. I was going to anyway but I wanted to check if it was a Righty or a Lefty. It was a Righty so I went into Quick Manage to pinch hit Max Kepler in for Nola.

The game lags a little and low and behold, everyone's stats are reset to .000.

I guess it's either a bug with quick manage or the pinch hit function.

The issue has been going on for me since I got the game which was literally I think a day after the first OSFM roster released.

I could not possibly eye roll at you any harder. Congratulations on picking one part of the post and nit picking it. I exaggerated to emphasize my point that making solid powerful contact has become very difficult and inconsistent. Similar to what happened last year.

The irony of your “only way to have a sensible discussion” comment is fantastic.

My eyes have rolled out of my sockets and halfway across the country after reading years of overblown, exaggerated instances of things happening in this game. Sorry to hear you're just feeling like that only now.

Why not just say what you just did in that last post and leave out the attempts at drawing more attention?

Ok yeah I meant to say Quick Manage, not MOM. Yeah this seems to be an issue that others have seen. I saw a very similar issue when i tested it. Except instead of all stats zeroing out, they were all simmed twice. So each team ended up with almost 80 AB's in a 9 inning game. This was patch 1.07. I would stay away from Quick Manage.

I'll try and use the in-game quick manage instead of accessing it through the menu

Because exaggeration and hyperbole are perfectly acceptable ways of trying to convey a point without going into specific detail. And what exactly is the point of posting on a message board if not to try and draw attention to your post? I didn’t realize that Capt Literal Man posted on these boards. I’ll try to remember to take your feelings into account next time.

Generally, yeah. When you're trying to make a point about specific things that happen in the game? Probably not so much.

The problem is your exaggeration otherwise known as Hyperbole does nothing but take away from your credibility. We need solid data points not exaggerated ones.

I use quick manage frequently in game as it allows me to roll through games faster. I kind of jump in and out of games. That said, if this issue pops up with any frequency that will be a deal breaker for me. Please let us know if you get to the bottom of what triggers it, I'd really like to know.

It's probably a combination of 1) I don't play online & 2) I use dynamic difficulty but I think for me, but patches always seem less pronounced. I can usually tell a difference when patches are downloaded but it's rare that the effects are so overwhelming as to cause them to be negatives. And don't you have to have the latest patch installed to access the vault?
