just to follow up I'm currently playing the AAA All-Star Game. I have 9 hits in the game in the bottom of the 6th:

3 homeruns
2 triples
2 doubles

Again this is at default Legend with Zone Hitting.

Just curious since y’all have probably played a few more games if you still have the same thoughts about the power not being down?

I did raise the power to 6, and I dropped the solid hits to try and offset somewhat.....I don’t want to be hitting too many bombs. I am seeing better hits, doubles and deeper fly ball outs (warning track) I have hit a few wall ball doubles.....no homeruns yet, but have only played two games after the changes.

I've not seen power droop or change across any of the patches.

My HR and XBH data on both sides have been consistent across patches.

I play Directional/Classic in case that's making the difference.

No. Strikeouts seem to be the same as they were pre-patch in my experience.

I've had more swings and misses than prior to the patch (both me and CPU) but I haven't noticed it leading to higher strikeout totals.

Power has been slightly up for me, though I think it has more to do with hot streaks than the patch.

The Phillies have abused my pitching the first two games of my series with them.

Not here - at least not because of the patch.

I moved up to Legend right before the patch hit so the K's have climbed a bit as well.

No. Strikeouts seem to be the same as they were pre-patch in my experience.

I've had more swings and misses than prior to the patch (both me and CPU) but I haven't noticed it leading to higher strikeout totals.

I should have said swing & misses. This is what I’m experimenting ( armors sliders Hof directional )

I was striking out more at the beginning ( of the 1.10 ) but I quickly realized I have to protect the plate with contact button more than I used to.

Yeah same for me, especially with guys like Gallo who swing and miss a lot. Getting a lot of choppers on breaking balls low in the zone which is also nice to see.

I've noticed a lot fewer doubles though, the CPU defense seems to run anything down in the gaps. On the flipside it seemed like I got too many doubles before but just seems like they went a little too far the other way. Anyone else noticed this?

I'm on default All Star hitting and the game is playing really well on the hitting side of things. (just could use a few more doubles) There's still some areas defense wise that need some attention but the game is feeling pretty good right now for me.

For the first time this year I'm looking forward to the next patch to put a tad more offense in the game. Now watch this be the final patch LOL.

My strikeouts at the plate are up a little since the patch, which is fine because they were showing to be a little bit low on default legend pre-patch. It still depends heavily on who the pitcher is - Strasburg and Scherzer are more than capable of striking me out 10 times in a game, while lower K/9 guys struggle to get 5.

Playing on Legend is the big thing that puts strikeouts in play for me.
