I wasn't expecting the Heidi Watney segments to add that much to the game, but wow. She popped up twice in the 5th inning, once to talk about the Royals lack of patience at the plate, and again to express Brian Snitker's frustration with Braves line drives being hit right at people. Heidi even mentioned that the "data" says we've hit 8 line drives, only one resulting in a base hit. That's incredible.

Yeah, it is amazing, all her info is data driven right from the batter pitcher analysis information according to the devs. But the way she talks about it is so natural

This would be enough for me to get the game. Are there enough new osds and is her info varied enough to make the game seem new and the purchase worthwhile?

I can't speak for Impetous, but the Heidi Watney dugout reports add a lot to the overall presentation. I actually get excited whenever Matt introduces her segments and I haven't skipped a single one. It's definitely varied. I've played a lot of games and she hasn't talked about the same thing twice. It isn't vague either. She actually talks about what's happening in the game and incorporates data. The shots of managers, coaches and players interacting during her reports feels very life-like. You won't see her in every single game, so that keeps it fresh. Heidi Watney, the new pre-pitch cameras, and appropriate player emotions makes it feel like a totally different game to me. I have no regrets with this purchase.

Also, I remember some users freaking out about her wearing coats in July and whatnot, but fortunately her choices of attire are appropriate and copious. Haven't seen the same outfit twice. You can tell SDS didn't half-*** this feature.

This is just beautiful. Not so much the walkoff, but the instant reaction to hard contact even though it's not going to be a homerun - Contreras knows he just won the game.

It was MTO so I couldn't go into the manual replay, but the live view and the auto replay caught enough of it.

Catchers try to frame borderline pitches. Nice little touch. I’m waiting for them to add the catcher tossing the ball out of play on pitches in the dirt next.

In RTTS in the locker room I like that it is your actual team mates and not random generic players. Makes it feel more immersive.

I don't even have this year's game and I may sound bias but Alex Anthony former Mets PA announcer should have been the guy as he really hypes up at bats with his slow pronunciation of names. He is jobless now anyway since his scandal

I saw a video of the CF robbing a homerun but what stood to me was the RF running over with his arms in the air celebrating afterwards. Very cool feature having the teammates celebrate too.
