Hold L1 when you throw to a base and they'll throw it to the cutoff man

I'm saying I want to be able to throw to a base, and decide to cut it off while the ball is in the air.

        You can

After you throw to a base you can press L1 to cut if off. There’s a msg that pops up telling to press L1 to cutoff

I've had a few occasions where my throw was that bad the CPU intervened and cut the throw off all by itself.

As reported by someone earlier in this thread, I love the animations when a catch is made at the edge of the wall/warning track. I see catches a lot where it is made just before reaching the wall and then fielder bounces back/push off. That is pretty damn awesome that they fixed the awkwardness

Another small thing to note, CPU/AI in Franchise mode makes decisions to pull closers and move them to the setup role. They aren't afraid to do that. In my Franchise currently, the Padres moved Kirby Yates to the setup role because his ERA early on was over 5.00

Has anyone been seeing AI teams call up big prospects like Vlad Jr, Senzel, etc?

I'm in a carryover so Senzel was already called up (he's on the Rays)

Blue Jays just called up Vlad Jr and sent down Ryan Goins.

Red Sox called up Fernando Tatis after trading for him with the Padres. This was 2 seasons ago. They traded for him and then immediately called him up. I don't remember who he replaced.

Padres called up Mackenzie Gore a few seasons ago and sent down Mike Leake.

There have been others but I can't think off the top of my head.

The presentation in big moments or "high leverage" is really good. Playing the Cards 3-3 top of the 8th Brebia came in and his quirk is a "stopper" the emotions he showed on his 1st strike out was outstanding. So you know I had to "STOP" him from all that fun he was having. Now watch the emotions of Bellinger after his at bat.

Runners on first and second, my pitcher at the plate. He bunts down the third base line. CPU pitcher fields the ball and looks at third to make a play. Realized he didn’t have one so he pulled his throw back and threw to first to get the sure out. Don’t recall seeing that one before, mainly because that bunt would have travelled 85 mph

Not sure if it can be considered a "little thing" but the videos they show when you begin the March to October are awesome. I've only seen the Yankees and Brewers videos. But they did an awesome job with them.

Not sure how common this is or if any of you all have seen it but I play a whole bunch and to my memory I have never seen this broken bat animation before in an MLB The Show game.
