so the contracts being signed are relatively accurate, just heavily backloaded. if the only issue is that the graphic misrepresents the total but the actual contracts are right I'm ok with it

That judge contract looks like a contract that would be handed out in 18 for a 99 overall player.(except backloading) Check a B rated player high 80s. Should be high teens for millions. I bet under 10 a year.

Didi is one that is easy to think of.

Check arbitration numbers as well. Just not be offering less than previous if so what are they settling for? Player should definitely be asking for more.

I'd hate to disagree with you but no. This is not something that can be fixed in an update. If you are going to change player salaries then you have to change the way the franchise engine handles them which we all know SDS did not do. Unfortunately, there were a few of us who were very vocal with our concerns that this was going to happen. I was one of them. You can't simply just change values for contracts without re-configuring the engine to accommodate the change. This is typical SDS though when it comes to franchise. You combine that with the fact that the base roster is essentially a copy and paste of last years roster, over 65% of the base rosters potential ratings are the exact same as last years. I think a lot of people are going to be dissapointed with this years release. I was trying to stay optimistic this year but they only care about diamond dynasty.

Here's the 5 year sim for anyone that wants to see. I've tried to explain the issues in the first 8 or 9 minutes and then the rest is just video of the sim. I forgot to mention that the contracts all seem to be backloaded. Anyway, it's really long but I figured this would let me people see as much or as little as they want.

From what I’m reading this would not effect those who are carrying over a franchise. Only those who are starting one with the 19 version and the “real” contracts. Is this correct?

Good video. Check the arbitration numbers. Lower then previous season. Snell had 9 mil last season offered 8. You have Bryant only making 8 his previous salary is like 17.

What are second tier guys getting? I see the contacts of top player, what about vet role players?

Looking forward to seeing trade tests. Especially comparing different rosters with real contracts vs Sony defaults from last year.
