I would agree to this if the message pop up about someone not being in the lineup wouldn't appear anymore and if pitchers were not randomly inserted into a lineup. Also if said pitcher weren't to receive fake positions they don't play like RF. If they're in the field, it's at a massive ratings hit.

I don't see any reason why MLB The Show should be so restrictive as to prevent us from doing things that happen on a daily basis in REAL MLB.

Bottom line, when I start a game, when I pick my pitchers and do my lineups...ALL 25 MEN SHOULD BE AN OPTION. If not, it's unrealistic.

They talked about patch 1.11 on the stream today and worryingly made no mention of fixing this. They did mention various minor other things, including on RTTS, so it wasn't just a DD update. Doesn't mean it won't be fixed on 1.11, but it's surprising they didn't feel it worth mentioning if they have

Which is ridiculous considering they mentioned it would be in patch 1.11 last stream.

Hopefully it is and they just didn't bother mentioning it, but they did mention minor RTTS glitches and a bunch of other miscellaneous stuff. Fingers crossed

Yes fingers crossed. I just can’t bring myself to start a RTTS/franchise for real until this is fixed. It’s a big problem.

If they don't fix it they could at least tell us why.

My franchise (which has been going since the 2017 version) has been on hold since this popped up. If they can't fix it, then I would export every single player out of the file, create a new roster, and start over with the DH turned off.

But, of course, you have to have CPU roster control on to do that, so I can't...

Which reminds me, Madden 2008(!) had a feature where, at any point during the franchise, you could export the entire roster into a separate file and keep right on going.

Man I hate having to point to old Madden games as an example of what could be.

Is it still intermittent? I haven't had a chance to check but I remember it was a 50-50 split of who was encountering the glitch and who wasn't.

                            and on-topic , is there a work-around ?

As an astros lifelong fan ill take over from here as THE expert on this subject. I will settle this once and for all and after therewill be no more need for further discussion:

I never want to see a pitcher twiddling a bat everagain! Embrace the DH! The only reason you dont likeit is because you dont use it. Simple as that. National leaguers shut yer hole, nobody wants to see a guy bat with his elbows clinched together, his knees wobbling standing all the way in the back of the box and try and stab at a ball coming 92-9mph right down the center of the plate and whiff while almost pulling lat muscles or separating discs in his back. Ever see roger clemens bat? Its embarrassing, he looks pissed doing it.

Yea lets remove a potential 40HR 125rbi guy so we can incorporate bunting into the game by guyswith Averages like .118

Trust me,isaid the same thing, I thought the same way, i was a national league guy all the way. The DH NEEDS to be in the NL too. Yes there valid arguments but they arent better arguments

Its just a better product and a better game.

Can we avoid the which rule is better argument? Fact of the matter is, my virtual universe has the DH in the AL and the pitcher bat in the NL. The rule cannot be changed once the franchise has started and you'll have a hard time convincing me to give up on the franchise I've been playing since 2014.

Even if I could change the rule, I wouldn't want to because I built my team assuming I'd have a DH spot. Maybe if I was in the off season I'd consider it, but I'm currently smack dab in the middle of August.

Fact of the matter is it doesn't matter which rule is better, it's still a serious problem and needs to be fixed ASAP.

Personally, I don't think anyone who can not play the field and can only spend a career as a DH does not belong in the HOF.

This is my belief, and I'm sure 99% of people will disagree, but anyone who wants to blast me, feel free.
