My only gripe is I can't tear myself away from my Braves franchise with your roster to play my Reds carryover chise from last year.....
Oh I pay a lot of attention to individual attributes but I'm not giving someone like Ronald Acuna no arm because the general masses don't think he should be a diamond as a rookie. All players have flaws in this universe and irl but I'm saying it doesn't matter if a guy on here is a 83 or 88.

I don't even pay attention to overalls when creating players and setting up teams. There are individual attributes that mean more and create themes when setting up teams.
Totally re: platoon bats. I traded for Freddy Ordonez who’s on the Red Sox. B potential, great lefty bat. Plays 3B, and also C! My C had been terrible and was able to trade him away. He just won Rookie of the month For May, and is hitting .270 8HR (3 GW) as of June 4.

Also Mariano Castillo from the Cards. He’s 99 fielder rating and perfect utility guy.

It's only mid-May, but I'm still pretty fired up for it. Loving this franchise and I could easily see myself getting through a season or two and then wanting to move it over to MLB 21. Definitely the most engaged I've ever been in a franchise.
I am so into my fictional team, I honestly don't know if I could go back to real ones. And you're right, this is the franchise that I will keep going on future releases of The Show!

OK, so I took my fictional Dodgers to Philadelphia to face the Phillies, both aces were on the mound, I am currently still testing sliders and this time I'm using JoshC's setup....the good news is I won the game 2-0, the bad news? ....I struck out 12 damn times...lmao.

I couldn't believe it....I sure wish I remembered that Phillies pitchers name cause he might become a Dodger in the very near future

Seriously folks. If you don't like the default roster with its issues. You really should give these a play while you are waiting for whatever roster you are waiting for. Best time I have ever had with this game. It really is just an amazing way to play.
Oh did...you play as the Nat's, but with the fictional rosters?

12 Ks against Shields? You got off lucky.

Tip for next time, load your lineup up with lefties. He doesn't have a changeup and like most good pitchers, you need to hit the heat and capitalize on all his mistakes. Shields is also a free agent after year 1 in any franchise so him wearing Dodger blue is a real possibility and I've seen it often in my own test sims.

Hey Bacon thanks for the tip, yea I couldn't believe it 12 times...lmao I had so much trouble catching up to his fastball it wasn't even funny.

As far as him becoming a free agent, you better believe he'll be wearing Dodger blue

Re: Fictional Rosters have made me love The Show again!!

I downloaded the roster last night and did a fantasy draft. I replaced the Miami Marlins with the Virginia Shockers. I am anxious to get started. I played the first three innings of my first game. I drafted a 99 rated starting pitcher with my first pick, but I can't remember his name for the life of me. I think he is 37 years old, but the thing that stood out to me is that he throws both right and left handed. I didn't notice it during the draft, but when he took the mound in the first inning, he switched which hand he pitched with each batter.

                      Vince Cartwright. He's a beast.

I was surprised he fell to me with the 27th pick in the draft and I couldn't help but take him.

He's also a two-way player and a great hitter too. So you may want to put him higher than 9th on days he pitches, and/or use him as one of your regular pinch hitters off the bench.

                            Hiya all...Greetings from the UK..
I am really intrigued by this, as I spend so much time fannying with the real Rosters, that I end up never completing a Season) so may I ask a few questions.

Is the Fictional Rosters available for MLB 20 or is it for MLB 19?

I saw a screenshot of some user created teams....Is that easy to do?
(and can such created teams be downloaded from the vaults?)

Thank you so much....and hope everyone is staying extra safe in these troubling times.

They’re are plenty of great rosters in both the Mlb 19 and Mlb 20 roster vault. The team creation process is exactly like the diamond dynasty team creation, pretty cut and dry.

Unfortunately there is no team/uniform vault for people to share their team creations this year...
