My Opening Day starter is Andy Sacramento.
Found it to be a fun coincidence lol.
EDIT: And King Hitter is Toronto's 1B! Lol the two players you specifically mentioned I'm experiencing on Opening Day.Last edited by TripleCrown9; 01-08-2020, 10:14 PM.Boston Red Sox

I would just like to point out that I just downloaded this roster, started a franchise with the Tigers, and did a fantasy draft to mix everything up even more.

I am very much on the fence about getting 20 as I have been content with 19 but this may sway me.Funkycorm

Based on past experience, user-created rosters, like Fictional ones, tend to carry-over even better than ones with real players (as players who retire in real life can lose their likeness in carryover franchises).Play the games you love, not the games you want to love.Comment

Re: Fictional Rosters have made me love The Show again!!
The base roster is Bacon's fictional set from MLB 18, I carried it over and added more players so every team is covered as well as free agents.
EDIT: I'm debating back and forth about starting another fictional franchise with Volsfan's fictional set as well. Still going back and forth, but I may cave and just do one with the Oakland A's as well.
My Marlins scored Tim Teixiera a Florida born Trout like CF signed to a 10 year deal. Jernigan is now in the process of being converted to 2B which has has seen a 5 point bump in his overall. A side benefit has been I can’t believe how much easier it is to bat at Marlins Park instead of Fenway especially when Bacon loves to throw in a funky action or two.
Bacon, as you know I’m in the laborious process of adding service time to a couple of dozen players and find it hard to comprehend how you’ve done nigh on a couple of thousand. I’ve also just noticed that for the most part you have done realistic options for players when you were simming. It’s something I didn’t even think of when adding service time and I might have to go back and redo a couple of the older players and burn some options along the way to fit with how perfect your Roster is. Options are something SCEA couldn’t even get right this year and you are a one man band. Well done!Comment

Showtyme, you inspired me and I’m on board the Marlins train! I reinstalled 17/18 to grab some of my favourite players from justmuncs 2017 roster and will sprinkle them throughout Bacons Roster on their correct teams if their salary stays within Bacons limits.

Re: Fictional Rosters have made me love The Show again!!
I’ve put in enough work on this one to start thinking this will be a carryover for me as well. Although I will have to stop tinkering with the Roster first! justmunc did a really good job crafting his set and it was a ton of fun back in the day but I do remember him saying something along the lines that it was too much work to add service time. So kudos goes to Bacon for being able to craft a set AND add service time.Comment
