I am willing to bet a paycheck that full minor league rosters is exactly how it's stated. A full sized minor league roster. If the player likenesses and names were included, they probably would have said that. They didn't. Their wording was very direct. I hope I'm wrong.

This isn't really true, it wasn't a promotional video or even a promo.

It was their livestream schedule that started this conversation.

Full Minors is in the schedule to be discussed, but as you can see, no one actually anticipated actual players (most anticipated additional roster spots) until towards the end of the thread when a few video's popped up that showed minor league players in the game.

I'll change my original thought - if actual minor league players were seen in the promo and they reiterated full minor league rosters I'm guessing it means actual minor league players. If so then I wonder if people are prepared for 90% of the minor league players to be busts with zero chance of making it to MLB which is what happens IRL.

Next question is whether they have reworked the scouting and June draft. Currently there is no way to scout enough players for a 30 round draft and there aren't enough players available for a 30 round draft.

It sound like the big franchise features will be relocation, full minor league rosters, new scouting and expanded June draft.

Unfortunately I agree. Nothing of substance. Hope I'm wrong, but another year where franchise does not get a stream. Makes me believe there is not much to discuss as far as logic changes.

The real minors and real ads looks like some liscensing deal. Looks as if thrown in as a feature to appease the franchise crowd.

If they increase the Single-A roster from 15 to 25 players and don't actually add Single-A teams for us to play with then that's the laziest thing imaginable.

If all they did was add 10 roster spots to each team, I'll be quite happy.

One of the things I've been waiting for is for them to add additional slots to help with the roster crunch/constraints and diminish the number of players in the free agent pool.

300 additional spots would go a long way to resolving that issue.

Yeah I'm not saying the 10 extra slots would be nothing. For roster makers like me those 10 slots will be HUGE. I just feel it's a bit lazy not to add the single A teams if you're going to give them a full 25 man roster. That's just my opinion though. Truth be told we may have to wait for PS5 before that can become a reality and if that's true then I completely understand.

That's such a good point. I hate how they always delete players from the roster because of constraints. Hopefully 300 added spots will prevent them from having to do that.
