Set a target of Nolan Arenado at the beginning of the season and as things progress maybe a package of your players begins to form that would make sense for the CPU to take over.
Sounds to me like a way to rip off the CPU. I impose strict limitations on myself in trades because it is already too easy to rip off the computer. The problem is they implement these changes and there is no option to turn them off. Quirks is an example.

Keep the gimmicks in these other modes and out of franchise.

The logic would impact the return not the hub. The hub is a way to target players on the block. Some elements are already there. Then cpu offers will be based off "wishlist."

You can search for trades using trade finder.

It sounded more like a creative decision rather than having something to do with the console. My guess is we’ll never see three themes return again which is incredibly disappointing since it gave some variety throughout the season.

Love the new relay system...SCEA doing some great things! Would be awesome to have the old school broadcast packages that are in moments an option for MTO and franchise.

Like tabarnes said, this is just a trade finder, it doesnt address the persistent issues of the trade engine itself which I think is what you're referring to.

              It isnt gimmicky at all.

"Hey Theo Epstein. I'm interested in trading for Kris Bryant. Let me know if there is any package that would interest you."

"Hey every other GM in baseball. I'm looking to make a late season push and I need an upgrade at RF and I'm willing to trade away some of my prospects. Willing to listen to all offers".

It would be nice to have a more logical trade engine but it wouldnt hurt to get this more immersive trade system.

I like the current system with strict self imposed restrictions. The player search function combined with the trading block and team needs equate to a good system.

I don't see how the system they described improves on that and if they removed the player search function it would be significantly worse. I suspect from their comments it is only in March to October and not franchise.

I do and I don't like it, when the optional is optional I probably in the end to save time won't be inclined to hit it. at least before it would auto come up and if I felt like watching it I would, and just hit x to skip if I am tired and want to rush

What a shame. I simply hate when great presentation elements that help make my franchise mode more immersive are removed.

Welp....we will adjust. We will have to now choose if we want regional broadcast between inning music vs ball park PA music. I will have to mix it up and figure that out.

That's a great point, it isn't just a theme that's gone but it leaves a big hole for those of us who value the Sounds of the Show feature.

                      Therefore I offer a suggestion...

What about if M2O allowed us the option (it wouldn't be mandatory for those who want to skip it and head to the first situation) to preselect our uniforms at the beginning of the mode based on the game that we are entering going by of its home or road, day or night, and the day of the week?

This would let the simulation know which uniform combos we want or don't want before any simulation actually occurs. We would be telling the game to "use this uniform on this day."

So if it's a Friday night road game I want to wear this uniform cap jersey and pants. If it's a Tuesday day home game, this uniform, etc etc.

Why is this even an idea? Maybe I'm a Cubs fan and I really love those blue jerseys and wanna wear it every home game, now I can do that. Maybe I'm a team with multiple uniform options and I wanna make sure every uniform gets a turn in my rotation. Maybe I wanna use a specific throwback uniform and create a scheduled throwback day once a week for my team. Maybe I'm using the nationals but I wanna use them as the Expos and thus wanna set it to only use the Expos throwbacks while never using the Nationals uniforms. Maybe I have an alternate cap that isn't in the regular uniforms and I wanna make sure I wear it more. Maybe I really love that Marlins blue BP jersey and wanna put it to regular season use. Maybe something quirky like I love my Yankee pinstripes and I even wanna wear them every road game too.

I think many people would enjoy this and by setting this up right before the M2O season starts it wouldn't take up time before each game situation.

I really like this idea, just to add an extra bit of customisation and authenticity to the mode for those who want it.

With regards to your first paragraph, the uniforms probably wouldn’t be selected as part of the simulation because they don’t have any impact on the simulation. It would only be factored in when the user becomes involved.

I think I was wrong. I re watched the presentation portion of the stream and they mentioned opt ins for broadcast and fast play. Seems like it may be across the board.

I hate this idea at all, the idea of broadcast mode is actually what it's suppose to be 'broadcast mode' when we watch it on tv we don't hit a button on the remote to start a replay we watch what we are given on air.

it seems like they are obsessed with speeding this game up every single year Quick counts simulation quick moments now, MOT this. they seem to want us to all have a arcade feel, I really don't like this direction at all. When they could be on using different animations for a change. how many times do we have to see the pitcher coming to the plate with his hat sweating? new animations would make it fresh for once,

Where in tbe stream did they say they cut the 2 themes from previous years ? From how I understood it there was a new one added onto the already existing themes so wouldnt that make it 4 in total now ? Unless i completely missed the part where they said they cut the themes but if so please tell me at what point in time of the stream did they say this ? Because that would be a big disappointment

Glad to see you can pick your starting point with dynamic difficulty. It took 5 years but it’s finally in.

I'm not convinced it'll be there for the menu option dynamic difficulty - what they showed as far as choosing a difficulty starting point seemed to be in the MtO setup.

Not jumping to conclusions on that and getting disappointed if it's the same as last year in the actual gameplay options.
