You would think with being able to transition your MTO into franchise the following season it would keep the same trade hub.

    Wouldn’t it?

Added archive to the OP link, for those that might have missed it. We'll have our breakdown up real soon.

Lol the laundry list of presentation adds.. he covered every single mode and guess which one was left out? Franchise!

Moving to OOTP for my franchise fix was the best decision I’ve ever made. Still love The Show but really going to just focus on March to October and Custom Leagues for gameplay.

Hopefully Mills or one of the other guys that went to SD can clarify. Usually the NDA is released once the info has been released and the community is allowed to discuss.

I assume no injuries as well?

Mills just stated on his stream doesn't believe the hub is in franchise. Major disappointment.

This mode without injuries and total roster control is not for me.

Fact that Franchise got 0 again is sooooooo disappointing.

Not shocked one bit. Inexcusable at this point to turn their backs on us franchise guys.

Love the new score bug with the dynamic pop ups... great addition. Also the new screen wipes being much faster is an added bonus. Hoping we get to quickly dismiss Heidi this year.

I didn't watch the entire video so I can't say for sure but my guess is no. With my self imposed trade restrictions trades are already difficult so if they leave franchise the same I'm okay with it.

In the trade screen for leagues there is an untouchable list from the stream. I wonder if the new hub is in leagues as well, just not franchise?

How the hell would that not be in Franchise?

After moving MTO into Franchise, then that hub screen is just gone.

                          WTF!

I'm not arguing just asking - what would be the benefit of that in franchise?

Franchise exists for people who want to replicate MLB IRL. If I correctly understood what they were saying you are restricted to 4 trades a season and you have a protected list.

I have a few ideas which would make trades more realistic such as:

Some players IRL have a no trade contract. That dynamic could be added. If you want that big star he might insist on a no trade contract.

                            The 5 and 10 rule.

It seems like the CPU doesn't look at durability when making trades. I never trade a player with less than 50 durability because I don't want to rip off the CPU. That could be changed so the CPU considers durability in trades.

It's exact implementation for MTO wouldn't necessarily make sense for Franchise, but take away the various restrictions of MTO and it begins to make a lot of sense for franchise. Instead of of selecting one of your players for trade and getting 1 to 3 random players from each team where the only consideration is balancing the skill value of the package going each way, you could actually select the type of players that you want to see in a potential trade. Set a target of Nolan Arenado at the beginning of the season and as things progress maybe a package of your players begins to form that would make sense for the CPU to take over.

Last year we were stuck with opening day rosters and they did an update a month in i think and that was it.

Did they say you can use updated rosters this year in MTO or again you're stuck w/ opening day rosters?
