Won the World Series with the White Sox, defeating the Mets in 6 games. Had a blast using the team, lot of pop in the lineup.

Wound up finishing the season on Legend difficulty for hitting (directional) and All-Star for pitching (classic). Never thought I'd work my way up to Legend hitting, that was a nice additional accomplishment.

Looking to find the next team to use, might go with an NL team this time, perhaps the Rockies or Diamondbacks, as I lived in both of those states, so have some connection to both teams.

MTO with custom rosters?

Can you play MTO with custom rosters. It would be cool to play the 1999 season with the new rosters in the vault.

Hi everyone - first time poster from Australia!

Finally this week upgraded from MLB14 to MLB20.... quite the jump and as you would expect a lot of changes. I'm not a 'heavy' player so 14 has been fine but after reading a lot about MLB20 and missing MLB so much this year it was definitely time.

I'm really enjoying the upgrade and loving a lot of the 'new' (not so new apparently from MLB19 etc) functions in the RTTS which I just started the other day. Created a closing pitcher and got drafted by the Padres in the 15th round I think it was. Really enjoying the new Pure Analogue pitching function as well. I'd read online that it was the best but would take a little getting used to - it's certainly different but am finding it very enjoyable.

My question here though relates specifically to MTO which I'm really keen to get into at some stage - after stumbling across this forum today and reading quite a few threads in their entirety - whilst it still sounds like there is some fine tuning to do - MTO certainly sounds like a lot of fun.

The question is once you complete a MTO with a specific team and you decide to start again (assuming you don't continue through to Franchise mode - which I have no idea what that is yet... I'm sure I'll get there) - are all of the 'challenges' in MTO the same for that specific team? For example, if you played a season of MTO with the Cardinals, then started a fresh MTO with the Cardinals again - are the challenges all the same or do they vary? I'm assuming they certainly vary from team to team, but are they locked in for each team? Hope this makes sense.

Can anybody help me understand why I can't start a MTO season? I go into Team Affinity, click on MTO, let's me change the level of play, I hit "X' to start.....and NOTHING Happens. What am I doing wrong? Is there a requirement to play I don't know about? I'm befuddled.

That just shows you the points breakdown for MTO with that team on the given difficulty, X doesn't do anything on that screen. MTO is accessed from the main menu.

Yeah, I figured that out after a while, lol. Accessed through the main menu. I'm old, lol. Thanks though, appreciate the reply.

the 2 huge trades i did in my Cardinals MTO was for Yordan Alvarez and Jorge Solar and my team got 100x better

Traded for Kluber in my Mets one. deGrom, Thor and Kluber was pretty sweet for the playoffs

Isn’t Thor in AAA due to injury? How did you get to call him up?

I just started played yesterday and I'm halfway through the season. I traded for Bumgarner, Lance Lynn, and Adam Eaten. Both MadBum and Lynn are in the minor leagues even tho they are way better than all but one guy in my rotation. I saw you get at least one call up opportunity. But so far 2 guys I traded for one of which is 90 ovr aren't even playing. Is this a buy or will they get called up later
