Re: MLB The Show 20: Fictional Franchise Progress Thread
Played my second game on 3/28/20. I used the Boston Bisons against the Las Vegas Gamblers. I only play a random five innings, quick managing in between to save time. Anyway, I gave up a first inning run but got it back with an RBI groundout in the top of the second.
I came back to play the 5th and was down 3-1, getting one back on a sac fly by Clinton Lake, then tied it in the seventh on a bases loaded walk by Lake again. However, while swimming the eighth, the bullpen gave up a three run homer and a solo shot. I decided to try the ninth down by four. Hit a double and a homer by backup catcher Corbin Montgomery to make it 7-5. Lake got his third RBI on a double but the comeback couldn't be completed, losing 7-6.

April 29th - Willy Benavides (.154) is struggling this season but you wouldn't know it after this bomb. Benavides seals the Padres comeback with a walk-off HR, his first of the season.

Re: MLB The Show 20: Fictional Franchise Progress Thread
Chicago Cubs (13-3) @ Baltimore Orioles (6-10)
Oriole Park at Camden Yards
Game 1:
Tanner Wood (0-0 2.52) still looking for his first win of the season took the mound in game 1 of this quick 2 game series. Rico Velez (0-1 5.31) on the hill for the O's. (2B) Blair King got the Cubs on the board with a 2 run HR(1) in the 3rd. The Orioles would answer in the bottom of the 4th when (LF) Eddy Ramirez hit a 2 run HR(3) to tie the game. Tanner Wood would exit the game in the 5th and be denied a chance at his first win. The score would stay at 2-2 into the 12th as the Cubs scratched a run across and grabbed the win. Mario Oquendo (0-0 2.70) picked up the Save(5) Cubs win 3-2
Game 2:
Casey Lockheart (2-2 4.68) Started game 2 for the Cubs against Terrell Woodyard(3-0 1.98). Brandon Bowers gave the Cubs the early lead with an RBI(24) single in the first. Then in the sixth the Orioles would strike for 3 with Nick Vanden Hurks 3 run HR(2). The Cubs tried to comeback in the 9th when (CF) Dario Suarez cracked a HR(1) on the first pitch he saw. Orioles closer Byron Joyner SV(3) would shut down the Cubs after that and secure the win for the Orioles. Cubs Lose 3-2

Re: MLB The Show 20: Fictional Franchise Progress Thread
Easily my wildest game yet!
3/31/20 - (2-3) Honolulu Heaters @ (3-1) Sacramento Leopards
Played as the Heaters. Things got interesting in the 6h. Down 2-1, Honolulu tied it with a solo shot by Douglas Lamb. That was followed by a two-run homer from Dylan Hanigan, taking a 5-2 lead. That score held until the ninth when closer Sylvester Bell entered. He immediately gave up a home run to Leopards star Colt Snow. A single came next and then Reid Fortenberry took an 0-2 pitch to opposite field, tying the game!
Bell got out of the inning with no more issues. In the 10th, Douglas Champion singled up the middle with 2 outs to give Honolulu back the lead, which they held on to thanks to a 1-2-3 10th inning from J.C. Stewart.

Lenny Andrews Game 3 of Opening Series against the Yanks.
After dropping the first two, rallied from 2-0 to secure the 5-2 win. Jorge Veras is off to a scorcher right now 2 HRs in the first 3 games, going 7 for 14 in the series.
Had minor issues the first two games of the series containing the Yankees fantasy drafted lineup. Clayton Anderson and Reggie Kellogg combined for 5 HRs off my pitchers. Clayton teed off for all 3 of his in Game 2.

He is on My Cubs roster, Did you do a draft? I love that guy! Willy Gonzalez is my utility guy who basically won the starters spot at 2B. I have him and Bryce Lewis ahead of my Power guys!Playstation Network:That70s_Gamer

Starting my second season after moving the Marlins to Charlotte and creating the Charlotte Flyers. Missed the playoffs with a 79-84 record last season. Off to a rough start with a 4-8 record so far. My top 3 in the order (JC Ray, Jorge Veras, Isaac White) are all under .210 right now.

Re: MLB The Show 20: Fictional Franchise Progress Thread
I am creating a 30 team fictional league myself and was wondering if I assign minor league stadiums to some teams and major league stadiums to others if it will affect their budgets in a multi-season league. Has anyone tested this out yet? thanks.Comment

I recommend playing with budgets off, however. Budgets screw things up in my experience, more than they provide realism

Re: MLB The Show 20: Fictional Franchise Progress Thread
I saw a thread before the game came out where someone tested. They didn't think it affected budgets negatively to play in a smaller stadium.
