The comeback code is killing this game. Up 3-0 in the 8th. My first baseman dropped two perfect throw that resulted in 2 runs. In the ninth, they hit a home run off Josh Hader to tie it of course. I just quit the game. B.S That's happened several times before in the last few days.

I’m fortunate enough to have both consoles. I’ve been loving both of them as well. I bit the bullet and got the JR edition on both consoles. I do have Game Pass but I wanted to play some baseball on Xbox this weekend haha.

Graphics wise, they look almost the same. I’d say in some situations the PS5 version has looked just a tad better and is a little smoother. I’ve also encountered some weird sound issues on the Series X version where the audio gets really choppy. That’s only happened a few times, but never on the PS5 version.

The Dual Sense implementation is pretty cool id say. It’s not ground breaking, but I like it because it’s not over the top. I love the Dual Sense in next gen Madden, and hate it in 2K. In The Show, it feels good but not great. But again, not a bad thing.

So to anyone with both, my recommendation would be to get it for PS5 and then try it on Game Pass on Xbox. I don’t regret outright buying it on Xbox at all, but it’s definitely a steal to grab it from Game Pass on Tuesday. If it ever does leave Game Pass you can then buy it at a discount too.

I pre order the series x version and to be honest I’m enjoying it. The gameplay is stellar. Graphics Idk what ppl are seeing but it looks great. Maybe it has something to do with my tv. I even went online play two games. That something I never do with sports minus madden. Love the overlay in game reminds me of ESPN. To me the only negative is the roster vault not downloading.

When at-bat, you used to be able to push Up on d-pad (PS4) and it would show both pitchers' pitch count and fatigue. Now it does not, only showing the opposing pitchers #s. I liked having the ability to see how much stamina my pitcher had left in case I wanted to pitch hit.

Also, the pause menu now shows some relevant season stats for the pitcher on the mound (H/9, K/9)...but it does not show their current game Hits, Walks, and Strikeout counts.

The stadium creator.

Changed some stuff in Modern Field (I think that’s the name). Saved and exited.

Opened a different stadium but was kicked back to Modern Field. Asked me if I wanted to put it in the vault.....NO. Saved and exited again.

Went to open a different stadium, kicked me right back to Modern Field. Asked me again if I wanted to put in vault.....NO. Saved and exited.

I now have THREE of this stadium and have no idea which stadiums it might have over written.

Gameplay is great.
Playing on a Samsung 65” QLED game looks beautiful.
Presentation is really good.
Getting used to and liking the new menus.

I haven’t started my franchise because I’m building my roster. Slow process should be good to go next week.

Can anybody download from the roster vault? I was hoping to steal some CAPS to put into my personal roster, but it’s a no-go.

Game is darker then 19 and 20. Major bummer. PS5.

Just making sure and it might still be too dark on some sets.. but have you calibrated the HDR in the PS5 settings? Mine was off until I went and adjusted my HDR in the settings of the PS5.

I’ve downloaded players from the vault. And imported them in my roster, everything worked fine.

When I complained there was no place on the one touch buttons to find the batter's vision rating, I was right.

Problem is I'm an idiot! SDS moved it to the main screen, right there next to the pitcher, where you don't have to touch any button to see it.

First, I don't know how I missed it. Secondly, I can't believe nobody corrected me on it.

Lastly, fantastic job, SDS!

I gotta say, I'm really impressed with the batter walk up music and the music for in between innings. I know not having SOTS on next gen is a bummer, but SDS did a really good job at making the walk up music and so forth really good and believable. Much better than years past.
