Mine is still downloading apparently. I waited until after the stream to order but I thought 5 hours would be enough. I did get to play the game between Dodgers and Rays as the Dodgers. Played as the Dodgers using my regular settings (veteran and metered pitching) and crushed them 11-0. Shoot the loading game does not even allow you to pinch hit or bring in a reliever so Kershaw had to go past 110 pitches. I did get my first three trophies though.
Seems like the difficulties might be a little easier based on a single game. I have not really played since the technical beta so I should have been rusty (and I wasn't very good to start with). I may have to try all-star as my default difficulty this year.
I am not a good one to judge graphics comparisons but the game looked sharp on the PS5.Last edited by Dolenz; 04-16-2021, 01:02 AM.Comment

Woke up around midnight to get one game in on PS5 before I go back to bed. Man this game is gorgeous! Not a huge leap in graphics but it's definitely noticeable, especially with the lighting. Casey Mize looks amazing. Also, I played a game on broadcast presentation and was happy to see that the game plays out much better than last year. Lots of throws back to the pitcher and step outs from the batter. Feels alot more like watching a real game. Even after foul balls it doesn't automatically snap back into the next pitch. Won the game 1-0. Lone run came off a Willi Castro solo shot. The dual sense feedback on the home run was beautiful. The controller is seriously a game changer, especially for The Show. And seriously, every player on the Tigers and even the Indians looked fantastic. I can't wait to wake up and play some more in the morning.

Simmed through a franchise year, an issue with playoff roster and injured list still appears to be present. If a player is on the IL entering the post-season and then is eligible to come off between series, he just disappears from your team.
On the roster page, the player is listed as being on the IL, but he's not listed as such on the IL page. You should be able to add him back in the break between the NLDS and the NLCS, but he's unavailable for the remainder of the postseason._______________Comment
