I literally just started playing and in my 1st game, in the 1st inning, I have 6 hits, 2 home runs, and 6 runs. Lmao. Chris Bassitt is shook on the mound.

started a game with same teams i was just playing on ps4 version so I could compare.

It looks better on PS5. Its the lighting that is better. Very minimal difference and I bet most people say it looks the same and aren't happy.

Haptic feedback on pin point pitching adds a bit.

The ps5 version also feels even smoother. Especially the motions of the pitching.

SOTS completely gone. Nothing in menu at all where it was on ps4 version.

Obviously real early initial impression but I'm pretty sure I'm going back to ps4 version unless something really blows me away soon.

its odd because you can set 7pm, overcast, whatever in the menu, but once you are in the game its 1pm clear skies (month hard to determine)

30 team roster control still there (had to search for it as menus are different) for franchise.

Manager of the Padres is Lance Leahy so I fired him and looked thru the options, all those ugly looking nobodys and not one real person with a scanned face to choose from.....

The rosters look fairly good with not that many fake players. I’m not sure I have thevrosyer update, but I don’t believe it will take the CAP guys too long to fill them in.

went back to ps4 version then back to ps5 and I think I initially sold the ps5 version a bit short. Again its not a huge difference but the PS5 version is pretty awesome looking.

I’m finding CAPS in the rosters so I’m guessing it’s Ridin and crew. They look pretty good. Last year, imo, was a disaster. Filling in the blanks should come quickly.

Well, not so upset that I can’t import my own roster at this point as exploring the rosters there are a lot of created CAPS, so gonna roll with the digital PS5 version. Whew.

Gotta say, besides the speed the controller might be my favorite thing about the PS5. I just hit my first homer with Freddie Freeman (about 440 feet) and it actually felt like I hit that thing. I can't explain it but the vibration just felt "different" from anything I ever felt on PS4.

I should note it was a "Perfect" homer.

Got my first game in on the series x. Buttery smooth. Game looks gorgeous. Cant say I see a gigantic leap but looks gorgeous nonetheless. Not sure exactly where the leap was to be made. I’ve owned it on ps4 in the past. Have both ps5 and series x.

Will fool around more tomorrow with stadium creator. Excited !
