Re: MLB The Show 22 (PS5/Xbox Series X|S) Q&A
Since you’ve done an MTO already, maybe you can answer my question. Is the draft in MTO? I’m interested in doing one since it is multiple seasons, but if there’s no draft then I’m much less interested.Comment

Contact customer service for either Microsoft, Sony, or NintendoI can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Re: MLB The Show 22 (PS5/Xbox Series X|S) Q&A
I need some recommendations.
I'm about to play this series for the first time since the PS2 days. I'm an offline User vs CPU sim player, who cares most about the authenticity of the on the field gameplay/strategy with ratings being the strongest driver of outcomes.
I don't care about things like rosters, minor leagues, or prospects being accurate. I don't want to micro manage my team or the league.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 22 (PS5/Xbox Series X|S) Q&A
I’m new to Xbox and the Quick Resume function. Is quick resume broken for this game? When using QR it says network connection lost and pressing any button does nothing. Had to close the game down.
Edit: Also, can anyone confirm if the schedule day games bug was fixed from last year? I forgot to check it. It affected Dodgers, Giants, Angels I think.Last edited by BlueSkies77; 04-05-2022, 07:21 PM.Comment

Playing RTTS and I’m a 90 out of 100 and now all my progression tasks are just gone from the bottom of the screen. Had to set my pitches back up as well. How screwed am I?Comment

Re: MLB The Show 22 (PS5/Xbox Series X|S) Q&A
I have the show on xbox series x and just purchased it for the switch. I have linked both accounts, but I am trying to continue my franchise that I have on the series x , on my switch. To do so it is asking me to upload my franchise from there series x to the cloud. I, for the life of can not see how to do that on my Xbox.
Please help!

Got it for the series X. Game feels pretty much the same to me honestly. Graphics are the same. Commentary is nice but not really a game changer.
It's still always a great game. But same thing every year.

It shouldn't be making you quit the game. You should be able to just push a button to get back to the game. I would say hard quit the game and then turn off your console and turn it back on. See if this fixes the problem. I am not having that issue.Comment

March to October is a "streamlined" multi-season mode where you don't play every game. You often get thrown into the middle of a game, and your performance will impact the simulated games that follow.
If you would prefer to play all 162 games (or at least choose which games you want to play) then franchise mode would be the way to go. If you don't want to micro-manage things then you can set as many tasks as you want to "auto-manage" when you start (or at any time during the season)
As far as other settings, you will likely want "simulation" style (can be changed in settings or when you first load the game). There are a number of different batting/pitching mechanics that have been added since the PS2 days, so I would recommend trying a bunch out in the Options Explorer to see what controls work for you. You can also try to play some Exhibition games on Dynamic Difficulty to see what level gives you a good mix of difficulty/realism you are looking for
Hope this helps!Chicago Cubs

Re: MLB The Show 22 (PS5/Xbox Series X|S) Q&A
Can anyone comment on the following:
1) how is sacrificing this year? I know in the past it seemed that every time a sac bunt got laid down, the player would try to get runner at second...and he was often out. It's almost like the runner animation slowed a bit as he was sliding into second, and a dp was usually turned. I don't mean rocket bunts either. Has that been toned down or corrected?
2) is CPU bullpen AI better this year? Do they take into account lefty/right matchups or is it just pretty much that they use whoever is next up in rotation list...long relief or not?
3) do outfielders charge the ball and come up throwing with more urgency?
4) are pitching animations largely the same? I always struggled with the easy going delivery rather than the ooomph required as they release the ball.
5) have any new slide animations made it in?
Thanks for any input!Comment
