But in all seriousness a few things:

-Bring back how hitting was in 20.
-Bring back how pitching was in 20
-Bring back the defense of 22(honestly the only one of a few things I enjoyed about the game)
-Keep the graphics of 22. It is a gorgeous game.
-Tell us y2y is returning in 24 so I can get excited about a franchise and its long term history. I don't care about it being in 23 but a guarantee for 24 is where it is at for me.
-Let us spend our stubs on franchise budget
-Go back to the 20 version of RTTS
-Make scouting more dynamic
-Continue to tweak and improve progression and regression. It really was better in 22 (another thing I liked about 22)

A pattern here. Give us 20 with a 22 next gen sheen.

In the end it will take a lot to convince me to move on from 20. I thought 21 would but it is in my opinion the worst in the series. I enjoyed 22 initially but that next gen sheen quickly faded and showed a game that regressed from 20. My lesson has been learned.

Give me the above and I will be on board with continuing to buy into this series.

Also, just a thought to throw out. Is it over for HUGE overhauls on games with annual releases?

Just assuming making games for ps5 takes more time and resources and it seems as though a lot of popular ps5 games that already have multi year cycles are getting released dates pushed back significantly.

If it wasn't for GamePass, I wouldnt have played the last two. But if I had to pay for it next year, it would have to have a graphical overhaul and/or drastically improve RTTS.

RTTS has been so dry that I've actually gotten into DD now

I don't think anyone should be holding their breath on a graphical overhaul. They just released on Switch this year. I don't think that they'd almost immediately abandon last gen to make next gen graphics for 23. I think the visuals will more or less be the same for at least another year or two.

The game has to come out on PC and the graphics and physics have to be majorly overhauled. I'm completely done with console gaming.

The World Baseball Classic. That would make me interested enough to make the purchase. I need something different that hasn't been in recent games. Otherwise, I've got plenty of past Shows to play.

Franchise mode really needs more depth in the record keeping department, at the very least, a page showing the past world series participants/ winners (box scores would be nice too)... But the player pages really should have transactions as a tab- i.e signed international/drafted sent down/called up/etc.
All their stats MLB/AAA/AA every year-
It would be nice to know when they were traded and who they were traded for, add that to the tab..
(they also need to give user powers to veto any trade)
Managers are useless. Can you even re-sign them? What's the point in even having them and the attributes they offer just feels too basic, should be a way to make them have more personality. Why not also add manager ejections/cutscenes
Just frustrating how, like some posters have stated before, MLB is all about the history and that isnt shown at all in this game.
Just put more life into franchise mode, would make it more exciting for me personally. We shouldnt have to keep side spreadsheets to track our league

2) All the names from 2021 the show

3) Add no ear flaps

4) Indians was once a team with a real history please don't erase it.

5) check face tool on up and coming boxing game.

Maybe it's time to upgrade players and face tool.

7) Roster to Franchise open player transfers.

8) Custom uniform adjustments anytime during season.

9) Left sleeve custom patch

10) custom adds for fences.

11) Automatic lining up Scoreboards with fences.

For the first time ever I boycotted The Show and didn't purchase it. However, not to fret SD Studios, I'll be purchasing it next year. Can't go 2 years in a row but SOTS will determine if it'll be the PS4 or PS5 edition.

Still want Y2Y saves, Coach Editing, Baseball Rules Options, and VR in MOM.

- Expanded award and stat tracking in franchise and some type of news/tweet/mlb.com type page too. Aaron Judge's HR chase has been noteworthy and interrupting broadcasts IRL, but in The Show it would go by unnoticed if you are not controlling his team. Also, I want to know how many GG's or All-Star selections a player has in franchise.

- Editable coaches with ratings that matter

- Available on PC

- "Next Gen" appearance - improved lighting, animation, cloth physics, something. The Show is lagging behind the other sports titles visually, IMO.

Been riding with 20 and skipped both 21 and 22...first time I've ever skipped an iteration and, while there are some nice features and changes (gesture pitching, create-a-park), there just has not been enough temptation to upgrade for me.

- Oh, and reopen the list to have our name added in the game again.

I streamed 22 to check it out and noticed my name has been removed with the commentary change.
