Hello all!

My name is Theo

I’ll hit the big 5-0 this April.

I am a software developer. After 25 years, I stepped out and started my own development company with a couple of very close friends. That was just over two years ago. And I wish we’d done it 10 years earlier. We specialize in public safety software for Fire, EMS and Law Enforcement. I love what I do.

Started playing baseball in the early 80s. Got the bug when my family moved to Lakeland Florida when I was a child. Instantly became a Tigers fan. Then we moved to Kansas, so, well I became a Royals fan. Once we moved back to Tennessee I became a Braves fan and have been ever since.

Started playing baseball games with HardBall. Loved the game. I’d change my teams colors and always move them to Memphis. Played 3DO(wasn’t that the name) for many years. Then switch to OOTP for a long while until I found the Show in 2010.

I’ve played many different ways. My current favorite way is play with classic hitting/pitching and auto fielding and base running. Much like Armour, I was the player rating to be the base of outcomes. And, by the way, his sliders are the best!

I don’t post on here as much as I’d like too. But I do lurk almost all the time.

My name is John (I'm already breaking the rules KnightT), and I'm 54 years old.

I've been on this board for 14 years.

Mechanical Engineer by day.

Self-taught Prog Rock drummer by night. The likes of Rush, Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree, Yes, etc etc. Interesting common interest with Armor. Who knew? Been a drummer since around 6 years old.

Proud dad of four boys, 25, 21, and twin 5 year olds.

Huge fan of MLB and NFL. Casual NBA fan.

I'm one of those guys here that really wants to keep this place a nice forum to visit and talk about the game and help each other out.

Name is Jim (46 though about to be 47)

Grew up in the New York/New Jersey area, Die hard Mets fan (Which is not good for my health)

Spent a good chunk of my life as a government employee working on an army base in New Jersey. About 3 years ago I moved to Florida (The Villages), Now I am the office manager for a custom home building company. In my spare time my wife and I ride around on the golf cart and play a lot of golf at the 47 or so golf courses they have in our nice retirement community we have here.

I live in Scotland. I’m 39 years old, turning 40 next month. I live with my wife (been together 17 years) and our dog.

Been on these forums lurking and occasionally posting for years. Have always loved sports games and my love for them started out with wrestling games as a kid. My cousin and I would spend hours and hours playing stuff like WWF RAW and Super Wrestlemania on the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis and later stuff like Attitude, In Your House and War Zone on PlayStation and No Mercy, WCW Revenge on N64. Sort of grew away from wrestling and got more into stuff like NBA and MLB and was always draw to the video games. Even from a young age, I’d get such a kick out of games that did presentation well. The closer a game seemed like a tv broadcast, the more I loved it, and that still holds true now.

I’m a huge baseball fan and I love the Yankees. I watch pretty much every game during the season, which can be tough living in the UK but I try my best. I’m also a big Knicks fan but I struggle to watch much regular season NBA these days as I find it so dull. It’s becoming like the TMZ of sports. I find that people care more about the off court drama, Instagram beefs and debate show stuff over watching the actual games. I still tune in for the playoffs though.

I work a fairly boring corporate job, but it pays the bills and funds my hobbies and interests. I always wish I’d taken up something more creative and fulfilling and sometimes feel like life has passed me by a bit these days!

I love watching movies, playing board games, collecting and enjoying whisky, going out to restaurants, collecting Yankees baseball cards and memorabilia - and I’m a bit of a tech nerd with a passion for anything Apple related.

I also have a bit of a coffee addiction and drink far too much of it!

My name is Dan. Originally from Maine, and now in Tennessee. Grew up a huge sports fan, but because of a heart defect I couldn’t play. Thankfully sport games exist and I’ve played them for as long as I can remember (now 32). My favorite baseball game of all time is MVP 05. When I’m not playing sport games I’m either enjoying an RPG (FFVII) or being depressed about sports lol.

I am Bryan and I am 41 years old and I live in Illinois. I have been married for 11 years and have a 4 year old son who keeps me too busy to play MLB the Show as much as I want. I love baseball and football but baseball is my #1.

I work in customer service for a recognition/award company that manufactures the Heisman Trophy, Bowl Game trophies, and other collegiate awards.

So since we have some music people here, I am going to put in a plug for a guy that worked for me. He is the lead guitar player now for a little band from my neighborhood that some of you might want to check out. Blacktop Mojo is the band.
It’s amazing that this little town in East Texas that is home to them and another band called Whiskey Myers.
This is so cool to read about the folks on the forums and be able to have something more than just a name.

It was painful for me to watch the Cubs beat Cleveland in 2016.....
