Because the game is mostly rock solid with the base code, do you have any idea what you're asking for by asking them to change the code entirely?



You just want a different baseball video game. That's not The Show's fault for being what it is, which works for a significant amount of players.

I like the Show mostly, just think if they can't add things that are more than cosmetic then this franchise us dying. People can't be expected to keep paying $70 for gimmicks like Storylines and DD cards. It's headed to being a roster update.

I agree but also, I would pay just for roster updates. I am not into the other modes but i see the value in them for others.

Never said I was a coder or know anything about coding. It's not my job to. It's SDS job to know coding. I'm a consumer and with a AAA price tag I expect them to do their job for my cash. Other games include sports games (NBA2K, FC, NHL) build from the ground up especially when the hardware can support it.

I know a few, What people are asking them to do is no easy task at this point in the games cycle. Would need to be done with a fresh code which one day will happen just not sure we should expect it before PS6

They are doing the job though. That's the issue: you're suggesting they're lazy and failing when the reality is they're not doing the hyper specific job you want them to. While also acknowledging you actually have no idea what you're talking about lmao.

Idk these are hard working people and it's such a bummer that you have to put the target on them instead of coming to terms with the fact that the game isn't gonna be perfect and they have to appeal to more than just you.

Never said anything about "correctly" The game is obviously coded "correctly" because it runs for the most part. But when you don't grow the game due to it's code, a AAA studio would do something about it.

Yea I paid for Gamepass 3 years ago on-sale and play many other games than the Show. The Show is a freebie add on where I'm concerned.

How is the game not growing??? Because it doesn’t have what you want?

They’ve added over the years:

Negro Leagues storylines
New gameplay mechanics
New commentary team
New presentation themes
Updated features inside multiple modes
Added create a stadium
Added rule changes
Amongst other things


So aside from them not adding specific things/features you’re wanting, explain how the game isn’t growing?
