I believe that stuff is added via patch, not roster updates.Milwaukee Brewers | Green Bay Packers | North Carolina Tar Heels | Wisconsin BadgersComment

I continue to be impressed with the equipment edits. I've been playing The Show since 21 and this is the best looking SDS roster I have ever seen. Who is in charge of the roster? I'd like to give them a shot out because its a very noticeable difference!Comment

Didn’t notice this until now, but shadows actually change every pitch instead of every at-bat (how it was in previous years).Comment

First time I've ever seen this - the ball is knocked out of the catcher's glove, the player is called safe and the run counts.

Here's a clip of the catcher not holding on, not quite knocked out, just scoop tag and it slides out

Rangers vs Cubs
I have runner on first and second
Carter hits a single up the middle and Bellinger throws my lead runner (Heim) out at home. Bellinger is shaking his head “no, not today”.🇺🇸 58,281 🇺🇸Comment

Re: MLB The Show 24 Little Things Thread (Positive Little Things)
Boog brought out the "tatooed to tater town" line on last night's Cubs broadcast for Morel's grand slam. I'm not sure if it's something he says regularly or not IRL (at least not as frequently as his "on its way" for home run calls), but I just found it funny.
It was his broadcast partner Jim Deshaies who actually brought it up first.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 24 Little Things Thread (Positive Little Things)
I had a runner thrown out at 2nd and the fielder dropped the ball on the transfer. The runner was rightfully called out. I don't remember seeing this in previous years. Usually the fielder always dropped the ball on a catch and the runner was called safe.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 24 Little Things Thread (Positive Little Things)
I’m sure it’s just a very, very unlikely coincidence, but I’m using it as a pretty cool little thing in my 2040 fictional league..
23-year-old Henry Nishii is an absolute stud in my league, a 99 overall SP.
30-year-old Daniel Nishii is a 74 overall rated RP who has carved out a decent, albeit unspectacular career thus far
Okay, so there’s only limited last names in the database … obviously there will be repeats.
They are both listed born in Japan though… okay again not a huge deal as certain last names probably trigger for certain areas.
HOWEVER they look alike, right down to the same style of facial hair and they both wear the sport glasses when they pitch!
They most assuredly could be brothers and in my head they most assuredly are!
I did a double take when the reliever came into the game against me as I knew about the 99 overall guy and knew what team he was on, so I was struck my the resemblance.
I don’t *think* SDS has family lineage programmed into the game but this was cool to see. And you can be sure I’ll be drafting any future Nishiis I see come into the league 😂Comment
