My last two franchise games were a 4-2 loss..... and an 11-10 win in 11 innings, where the final 15 runs scored by both teams were in the last 5 innings of the game.

You never know what you're gonna see if you just keep playing.

I just lost a game 10-9, after being up 9-0 in the 9th....

Everything my bullpen threw was just smashed that inning. I thought it was garbage and silly AI.

Next game I won after scoring 3 in the 9th in a game that had 4 lead changes. I just sat back after that, exhaled and said, "Wow". That was worth it.

There are a bunch of cool animations this year, bat flips, expressions. My OF raises his hand and walks towards the infield after gunning down a runner at 2nd. Really adds to the excitement.

I don't know if anyone added this in the thread, but HOLY CRAP they added the shoulder sleeve ads for most teams. The Mets have their infamous one!

I blew a 7-0 lead to the padres after Blake snell was removed. Went into extras to have conforto hit a three run home run off the center fielder’s glove and go over the wall for a game winner. Unreal.

I'm not sure if this is new or not. But when I made the trade in my Yankees franchise for Jon Berti he had a beard. I always thought it looked silly how he had one and no one else did. But I was like whatever. I turned the game back on today and noticed his beard was gone. I don't know when this happened but it's much appreciated.

Would be huge for realism if it's possible for all players to lose facial hair when with Yankees.

It's a 'simple' modeling change.
Even if you load the game's default roster (not the live roster) and see him in Miami, the beard has been removed.

It's just a likeness update. As far as I know, no sports games besides EA NHL lets you add and remove facial hair from face scanned individuals. I've always wondered how EA pulls it off (They have in in the game for the playoff beard feature, but there's nothing stopping you from adding a wildebeest facial hair to any players in the game, not sure about removing facial hair off of guys who usually have it though)

Playing an Orioles franchise.

Hit a home run with Colton Cowser, his first major league home run. Singleton points out that after you hit the first home run, some guys get really hot.

IRL, Cowser just hit his first career HR last week. He now has 4 in his last 4 games IRL. I guess Singleton really knows his stuff lol.

Each player has minimal or no facial hair on their scans. So guys like Brent Burns just have their normal face with no beard and then you can add any facial hair type that you want (they have like 8-9 different choices).

Also NHL2K was actually the first to do it in 2k9 I believe and then EA NHL adopted it.

Just played a night game in early April and every single player on both teams were wearing long sleeves. Country Boy will know better than I, but I don’t recall this being in last years game.

It’s been in the game for awhile. Depends on temperature, but sometimes it will just be the pitchers with long sleeves and other times it’s everyone. Still a cool feature though.
