If it’s been in previous years I’ve never noticed. Playing with the Jays in Rogers Center and I just noticed some fans are wearing throwback jerseys. Nice touch, even though they still have too many fans wearing red.MLB: TORONTO BLUE JAYS

Re: MLB The Show 24 Little Things Thread (Positive Little Things)
I've seen the ball hit the bag, but never hit on this angle and bounce back to towards the plate

I had seen several hit the front of a base and either shoot up or stop, I just hadn't seen a ball with the exact right bounce and speed to hit the back of the base before.
Okay so I’m pretty convinced that they made some updates on the physics. Like you guys, I had never seen this either, then saw it happen twice in about 6 games. Here’s one of the clips:
Also had this play happen that I’ve never seen before, both the 1B and 2B went for the grounder, the 1B missed it and the 2B backed him up but the pitcher fell asleep covering the bag and 1B couldn’t get back in time

Re: MLB The Show 24 Little Things Thread (Positive Little Things)
Never seen this "catch" animation before...yikes!

That banner is obviously a bug - the number is right but the team is wrong. Can't imagine that would have been caught in testing with how rare errors can be in this game anyway.
Switch it to 1080p if you can't see the play clearly - it's defaulting to 360p for some reason.Last edited by bcruise; 04-30-2024, 05:05 AM.Comment

Man on second, 2 outs. CPU has a lefty pitching. I have a switch hitter up and a lefty on deck. With first base open, CPU very clearly pitches around the switch hitter to get to the lefty.Last edited by tc020791; 04-30-2024, 05:18 PM.Comment

So if you watch one of if not the first trailer for MLB 24 it shows Julio Rodriguez throwing up the X in CF but I haven't seen it. Have any of you guys seen that happen?

The situation was a fly ball in the gap, and Jarod ran it down. It showed my batter bending over and then JRod turns his back, looks at the crowd and does the animationComment

Was exhibition game. Broadcast presentation. And I never hit X to skip cutscenes. Watch em all. It seems like a few of them are attached to other scenes, so is easy to skip em.

Re: MLB The Show 24 Little Things Thread (Positive Little Things)
Bottom of the 8th, down 2-0. My offense is struggling to get a big hit all game.
I work the bases loaded with 2 outs. Work a 3-2 count and after a 12 pitch AB, fouling off pitch after pitch, line a single to left that scores 2 and ties the game, crowd going nuts I say under my breath.....wow.
I end up losing the game 3-2 in 10 innings, but man that 8th inning moment was fantastic.JUUUUUUUST A BIT OUTSIDEComment
